Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I have to go with Illmatic no question about it. I was actually gonna post the exact same thing you did. There's not much purpose in posting one of these things where the option picked is pretty much picked by everyone. I mean really, I've never met one person who has said that Illmatic wasn't his best album. Everything he's done since has been compared to it.
Henry Spencer 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Yep, Illmatic. Somebody voted for God's Son. Reveal yourself, coward!
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 God's Son was pretty good, though. Still, this poll's kinda pointless.
Henry Spencer 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 God's Son was good. Although I hate hate hate that one song with Beethoven's Fur Elise as the backing track, and the kid's voices on it that I can't remember the title of right now.

Although I hate hate hate that one song with Beethoven's Fur Elise as the backing track, and the kid's voices on it that I can't remember the title of right now. That would be "I Can." At first, I thought it was cool that Nas used Beethoven's "Fur elise" as the bacing rhythm, but after a while, it became rather, um, "meh."
