Mama Carter, who also produced Backstreet Boy Nick, was arrested this week for attacking her hubby's new squeeze. The 44-year-old mother of five, who separated from Robert Carter in March, allegedly smashed a window to break into his Marathon, Florida, home late Tuesday night and attacked his 29-year-old gal-pal. Jane pulled a sleeping Ginger Elrod out of bed by her hair and hit her with a remote control, according to a police report from the Monroe County Sheriff's office. Elrod exited the house and encountered cops who'd been called to the scene. They observed injuries to her head and right elbow. Police officers also spoke to Aaron's 16-year-old twin Angel, who was a witness to the alleged incident. No word if Aaron was around at the time. At that point, cops arrested Jane on a misdemeanor count of battery. She was released in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. All this just days after Aaron allegedly resolved his personal and financial differences with his mother. Last month, young Carter announced he was firing his mother as co-manager and demanding an audit of his earnings. The teen idol claimed Mommy dearest took more than $100,000 from his bank account without his permission--an allegation she denied. But on Sunday the Carter clan sat down with an attorney to hash out their problems. An amicable understanding was reportedly reached and Aaron reversed his decision to file for legal emancipation from his mother. The family drama continues as an entertainment manager files suit against Robert Carter for allegedly cutting him out of Aaron's career. Eliot Weisman has slapped a $75,000 lawsuit against Robert for libel and breach of contract, claiming he was tossed aside after introducing Ma and Pa Carter to the William Morris Agency. According to Weisman, he had a business deal with Jane to oversee Aaron's career--an agreement that Robert disputes. In a stunning turn of events, big bro Nick, who's starring in the upcoming horror flick The Hollow, has managed to avoid the spotlight completely, all while dating professional party girl Paris Hilton. How does she only get a misdemeanor? She breaks his window which is destruction of property. She enters his house which is breaking and entering. She attacks a women while she's sleeping and hits her with a something which can be called a weapon and leaves bruisers or cuts on the victim. Rich assholes always get off easy.
