Am I the only one???

On the flip side, I honestly believe that Lesnar/Holly is going to be either mediocre or completely suck. Nobody buys Holly as a credible threat, which will effect the match in the sense that the crowd will either be completely dead or shit all over it from the gate. Since RR is in Philly, expect the shit to fly.

Rey Misterio/Tajiri/Noble/UD are pretty entertaining IMO. They should be allowed their time to shine because they deserve it.

Holly - Lesnar will be decent, and the crowd will buy it, if they honestly just stiff the crap out of each other.

Rey/Dragon: Decent...TEN YEARS AGO. I despise the...thing that Rey has become, and Dragon is completely past it.

Tajiri, admittedly I love to bits, if only because I was a mark for him in ECW.

Noble's ok, except for the fact that his gimmick, character and current attitude and actions have all been done beofre

Spanky and London should have at least been off Velocity and get a few non-title tag matches to see if they caught on. That's not unreasonable at all.

The last (and only) time Paul London was on SD, the crowd was DEAD. Which tells me a lot.

SpankyLondons decency on Velocity can be attributed to Haas and Benjamin or the Bashams, both products of the developmental system, being better workers

Ironic, I hate Jim Cornette, but think OVW Rocks

Spanky and London never faced the Bashams.

Paul London had one match on SD where he got squashed in two minutes.

Good journalism there Dave.

The future of this business is gonna be John Cena. At least until Randy Orton gets given a gimmick that the fans can get behind.

Also, given that Spanky/London were at the point of Spanky's departure one of three face SD tag teams, they should haver been given at least one SD match to give people the chance to see what they can do.

-Booker T: Inconsiderate Jerk who has publicly stated his desire to retire, and yet, some people believe it was wrong for HHH to bury him.

Uh no.

Booker said he planned on retiring in two-three years. It's not like he said he plans on retiring the minute they give him the belt.

Bob is getting a title shot that will re-establish Brock as a stiff badass monster.

By running away from Sparky Plug?

At least if he decimates Brock, it'll make him seem like he has the power to destroy anybody, even those who he sees as a threat.

Eh, that's bollocks, I know. It's just WWE trying to make fans think that Sparky is better than the world champion for his one time only ME. Schmucks.

Yes actually.

Because Brock needs to be woken up, have his stuff start getting beat in before he breaks loose and unloads.

I expect Brock to leave Bob a bloody mess but Holly will keep getting up until he gets F5ed on a steel chair and locked in that leg submission by Lesnar.

You make Holly out to be the tough guy he is but you also re-establish Brock as the monster. It's not the most difficult thing in the world.

2. Even the Brooklyn Brawler has had a world title shot.

I don't remember it.

Was Brawler built as the strongest face on the roster heading into the third biggest show of the year?

Ahh, now the WWE folder people can see what I had to deal with in the TNA folder...

Ok, in the TNA Forum, I attacked something that people like - now I'm attacking people's irrational hate of Orton...weird.

Orton's okay, but my problem is he's not the Messiah of the WWE that Vince wants fans to believe

Then who the fuck is???????????????? So help me God if you say anyone under 250lbs I'll die laughing

Well, you do know that if they were, you know, PUSHED, there wouldn't be those faults now would there?

No, because he'd still be lazy and sloppy - look at Fall2001

The future of this business is gonna be John Cena

Cena = Sideshow act who can't, you know, wrestle

Paul London had one match on SD where he got squashed in two minutes.

It was still a match, and i was on SD, works for me

Like I said before, Brock's being booked as a pussy just to show fans that Bob actually has a chance of winning the title.

Because you can give him the belt, give him a good reign that makes the fans happy and then you can job him to someone else and put them over.

How is Paul London supposed to get over when he's sent into the ring to be squashed by Brock Lesnar?

Hey kids! Do you know who that is?

Kids: Who?!

It's a Gimmick Poster!

YAY!!!

Oh, the Gimmick Poster!

He likes to act like a jackass

By going to a message board

And saying unpopular opinions!

Oh, the Gimmick Poster!

He really is a jackass!

He never defends his arguments

He just says everybody else sucks!

There he goes, off to the Puro Board!

Kids: Goodbye, Gimmick Poster! We'll miss you! *sniff*

---------

Man, I don't know where I came up with that.

He didn't take it with a broken arm, it is what gave him the broken arm. He did finish the match as someone said. In my opinion, they messed up when he initially came back from that, as Angle was getting hot,

Angle was world champion.

It's the same situation.

Simple. You don't. Your'e not supposed to care about the little squirt - you supposed to look at the guy twice his size annihilate him and go "Man, look at the strength of him"

Furthermore, post match, when Sanky had a go, and got flung around like a lawndart - didn't Taker come out and go "Little boys - playtime's over" or something like that. Thats WWE thinking, and NOTHING is gonna change that.

As you can clearly see there, Orton is under 250 lbs. Way to know the facts buddy.

I'd say John Cena, at least he got over on his own.

No, because he'd still be lazy and sloppy

At least he would be HAPPY and wouldn't be as much of a pain to management.

Sideshow act who can't, you know, wrestle

A lot of people said the same about Hulk Hogan. Look what happened to him.

Why should the bookers waste time on someone who's not gonna be around in five years???

Because he is still over with crowds.

AND THAT IS STUPID!

Don't you get it? They have Paul London- a guy who has been compared to Ricky Steamboat and is great at capturing a crowd- and they waste him like that.

It's depressing

No, you're forgetting your original point. That London had a match on Smackdown, and the fans didn't give a shit. Everybody else said that this was because it was 1) a basic squash and 2) his first ever appearance on WWE programming. Now, are you gonna accept that he didn't have a chance to get anything than apathy, or are you gonna ignore it and be a troll?

I'm happy in my job, and I'm still a pain in the ass

Smartmarks universally despising his attempt to still be on top

Because he is still over with crowds.

HHH is still over. Therfore the bookers should book him well aswell???

As you can clearly see there, Orton is under 250 lbs. Way to know the facts buddy.

My mistake. I generally watch wrestling with the sound off

Cena can wrestle enough to be the future of this business. Also, his gimmick is more over and suited to him than Ortons.

In addition, Cena can work a crowd and a mic better than Orton, as well as having just as good a look.

So, how exactly was Shawn Michaels suppose to get over then? After all, he was just a little guy surrounded by big guys.

I guess he should have been crushed by SID and Taker and Diesel so we could all go "Wow, look at that wrestler's strength."

And CC nailed you on one fact so kudos to her.

They seem pretty gung-ho about pushing HBK as the top face on Raw, and I seriously doubt he'll be around in 5 years.

Will Taker be around in 5 years? Doubt it.

Austin?

And re: Spanky/London - they were over enough as a team wrestling on Velocity to warrant a small push on Smackdown, especially considering 2 of your face teams are APA and Rikishi/Scotty, and Eddy/Chavo scheduled to break up & feud.

Only because at this point, he is enough past his peak to be a liability. Nobody would argue his importance to wrestling.

And who's the current Raw Champion right now? None of the Raw champions in the last year or so will be around in 5 years, so why should shows be booked around them?
