Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I wasn't going to, I usually get one a year and WM, the one a year around Summerslam or if I think there's gonna be something good, and Mania because it's Mania. This year I wanted to get a "specialty" PPV and because Rumble's the only one left really and I got my income tax to blow through I figured why not. I like how the undercards not too thick with a pointless tag or some womens match, everything's pretty much title or grudge. The rumbles been built up well and is sure to spark some new angles and stories, Eddie vs Chavo is a likely show stealer with two men given a good oppurtunity for a story heavy match and the ability to do so, good title matches considering Brock and Holly have an easy match scheme to stick to in order to break past *** and will surely get the time, the only time I've enjoyed HHH and HBK has been when there beating the shit out of eachother for 20+ so that'll be nice, and if I had to go for two basic filler matches a Dudleys table match and a Cruiserweight Title match would be my choices. I got a good feeling about the overall show.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I always order it, and this year will be no exception. I think there are three matches on the card that have the potential to be excellent (HBK/HHH, CW title and Los Guerreros), there's nothing that I think will be actively offensive, and the Rumble is as intriguing as it's ever been, with all the rumours flying around about cross-brand matches at Mania and such. I'm actually really looking forward to it.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I'm hoping to order it with some friends. I've always enjoyed Royal Rumbles, and this Rumble card looks to be more promising than most PPVs we've seen in a long time.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 My brother likes the Rumble match, and I wouldn't mind seeing what happens. I should like most of the event, as long as Goldberg doesn't win, and they finish off the Holly feud.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I've ordered every RR since 1994, and this one will be no different.
clean rob 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Definitely, I always enjoy the Rumble match itself and the undercard is easily the stongest since WMXIX, possibly more so than that. The worst match will almost certainly be the Duds/Evolution one, and even that should be able to make *1/2 with a bit of effort. Count me in on the "Goldberg better not win" bandwagon, though... I could see a great PPV being totally dragged down on the final image of GB getting a Rumble win.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 The Rumble is one of my favorite PPV's of the year because of the Rumble match so I'll be ordering.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I was going to order it, but my cable company has decided that only people with digital cable can order PPVs. The change took place this past week. Additionally, the bars around here don't show PPVs due to lack of interest.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I'm attending. I was hoping we'd get a Brock/Benoit match, but, alas, it was not meant to be... Eddy/Chavo, Rey/Knoble, and the Rumble should all be good -> great. Hopefully Brock ends up destroying Holly, which would be another plus.
clean rob 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Does anybody if WWE has found someone to show it in the UK? And if not, can you order the webcast from the UK? WWE has confirmed that Setanta Sports (Sky Channel 435) will be showing the Rumble - there should be previews on as we speak.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I'm ordering it because it's a habit. I order every PPV and because I have so many friends come over I don't really have to pay much more than 5 bucks. It's become like a monthly party....but I really have no interest in the actual show. Hell I barely watch wrestling anymore.

clean rob 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Apparently it is on NTL, Chave II. Have a flick through, see if you can find it. It's a pretty new channel I think.
Repo Man jr 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I've got NTL and I found Setanta Sports on channel 916, but no preview at the moment. If you look here it says its on NTL - http://www.setanta.com/ppv_index.jsp And the http://royalrumble.wwe.com/ site says - Sky, NTL and Telewest digital homes can book ROYAL RUMBLE from Setanta Sport via their remote control or by calling the following numbers: Sky: Go to – Setanta Sport Ch. 435 or call: 08708 500 005 NTL: Go to – TV ON DEMAND / NTL Ireland call: 1 800 234 234 Telewest: Go to – TV ON DEMAND So I hope its gonna be on the On Demand bit like the Sky Box Office ones usually are. Not there yet though.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I'll be ordering it. And by "it" I mean UFC 46: Super Natural - a vastly superior show in every way possible.
Guest Goodear Report post Posted January 20, 2004 And I'll be watching X-Men 2 ... but about as many people care about that as care about Pride 451.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I've never missed a Rumble. Well, I missed the earlier rumbles, but that's because I was a little NM. I don't think there was one Rumble that I didn't enjoy, and yes, I immensely enjoyed Rumble '99.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 ... I care. X-2 was a pretty fun flick. And it's UFC 46. PRIDE 27 is shown a week or two after - and I won't be watching that (horrible card). But UFC 46: Super Natural, I will be watching. And since it's on PPV, and since it's close to the Rumble (31st) and since it's a reason as to why I won't be watching the rumble ("a" reason), it's kinda, sorta, a lil bit, relevant. Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I will be ordering the show. It looks as though this will be one of the best Royal Rumbles. I am looking forward to the Rumble match, along with the entire undercard, especially HHH/HBK. I just don't know who will win that one. Usually its the person who doesn't have the upper hand going into the PPV, but it seems neither of them do, because they haven't hit each other in 2 weeks. Guest hhheld_down Report post Posted January 20, 2004 i shall be ordering the rumbe, i wasnt going to at first but after they added eddie/chavo, rey/noble, and hhh/hbk, its pretty much a must buy. Directv has the deal where you can order the rumble/NWO/WM all in one package for 100 bucks and save 20 dollars so I will definetly go for it. Hopefully the recent rumored NWO and WM cards are somewhat true to make it worth my money. Beniot better win the rumble, anyone but goldberg or alas I am going to be pissed. If only because there's still a bit of doubt over who wins the Rumble and the Raw title.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 (edited) ^ Congrats to Aero and ChrisMWaters, hope you guys enjoy the show. Anyway, I wasn't looking forward to the PPV at first, but then I realized the RR isn't predictable this year as it has been in the past since there are so many possible winners this time (Benoit, Angle, Goldberg, Cena, Chris Jericho). I'm hoping for Shawn Michaels to win the title. I'm going to enjoy watching Brock kick the ever loving shit out of Holly. I'm not for Guerrero / Guerrero as its not the great feud I remember back from 1998, but the CW match makes up for it. And RAW might give a decent / good Heat match. Cheers. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I haven't ordered since 2000 I haven't watched one since Wrestlemania last year and I'll be skipping this year's Wrestlemania for sure. I'm not paying 35 dollars for stuff I don't want to see, I might hook off a webcast but I highly doubt that. I could spend 35 dollars on something more important, like DVDs or music or dental floss.
