I get a MYSQL error that just won't go away no matter how often I refresh. So I can't read any important news regarding the league and stuff. Since I'm the commish, this is bad. Very bad.
Art Sandusky Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I would just use IE anyway, but the reason I have Netscape is from a very strange day back in late October 2002 when my computer attempted to crash itself. Everything worked fine afterwards again, but anything that used IE (like MSN messenger, RealPlayer browser, Kazaa browser) or the program itself redirected me to the Comcast.com error page for whatever reason. Not even going to Comcast.com yielded success, as I'd still get the error page. The people at the company had no idea what to do when I called them about it (they'd never heard of such a thing happening, and they had six people attempt to help me), so I was forced to upgrade the Netscape 4.6 I never used since I got the computer up to 7.0. I guess I'll have to learn to live with the board looking freaky.

I just realized that every time a thread looks fucked up, it's from his sig onward. The oddities with my computer continue.

Slayer Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Pet Peeve about New Setup: Clicking "View New Posts" and having to wade through all the pinned threads, most of which I don't care about, across all the sub-forums before getting to the non-pinned threads. I prefered the old setup when it was by chronogolical order and pinned threads were mixed in with regular threads

I have been bitched at by quite a few people about my having quote tags in my sig. Is it possible that you can't have quotes (using quote tags) in your sig right now? If so, that might solve some problems.

But like earlier, I replied to something in a thread and now my comment and the comment I quoted aren't even showing up for me, and other threads are going all centered and left and right in crazy directions. I don't have those problems at other boards, though, so I'm guessing it must be a problem with this one, maybe?
