You can't play ranked games against friends online, unless you, for some reason, get really lucky when you're matching up for them. As far as I know, anyway. My GT is projectreaL1ty, and I'm up for games whenever I'm on, most likely.

I just started playing ranked online games. 2 games in, and both guys have pulled the plug close to the end of the game. Pretty lame, because apparently, I can't get the online achivements that way.

Cavs looked alright tonight. Celtics looked as good as they should have, I think. I didn't watch any of Bulls/Bucks, but a friend of mine mentioned that Rose looked solid, so I'm glad for that. Pretty stoked for the NBA season to be starting back up.

The dynamic between Clark/Lois really is a lot more natural than between Lana/Clark. I really thought this season would suck ass, but I've been enjoying it so far.

Having a blast playing this game, though I hope they get their connectivity shit straight with the patch they're working on. It sucks inviting friends to games and having them randomly drop!

Looking forward to the Heat season this year, I think. Wade played fantastic basketball at the Olympics, and with the additions of like, Chalmers and Beasely, there's so much potential there. Cleveland might be entertaining to watch as well. We'll see. October can't come soon enough.

I'm torn on the ending, as I feel like Vic getting popped by a random thug would remind me too much of another show that ended recently. All the same, it's a hard prediction to make. The season should be fucking phenomenal though.

I did indeed close down ThePit today. I did so for a few reasons, included but not limited to, the domain expiring. Further than that? I just stopped having a use for it. If finally getting tired of thanklessly running a messageboard full of the kinds of people whom inhabit ThePit makes me a dick? Well, whatever you've gotta tell yourselves to deal with it, I guess. I won't be apologizing, nor doing anything that resembles anything remotely close to that. If you want to ream me out, please feel free to send any and all PMs to me, and I can assure you they'll be read. I can't say whether or not I'll respond, because as I told Jingus earlier this evening, time is at a premium for me, right now, and apart from that I can't see myself wanting to respond and address hate PMs. Go figure on that one. Beyond that, I want to make it clear that this was something I did on my own, without influence or whatever from anyone here. I can tell you all that the administration here, obviously outside of myself, are very much interested in extending an olive branch to posters from The Pit who may have felt alienated or otherwise ostracized from here for any reason, whatever those may be. Five Guys is a fucking fantastic burger. I have one close to me, and it's one of those places that is a frequent visit. Great food.
