Styles Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Well, the original list of names was in fact false, and of course as per usual around here, everyone used it as an excuse to be negative. Here are the participants as announced on this week's show: Team TNA Jerry Lynn Chris Sabin Elix Skipper Sonjay Dutt Team AAA Juventud Guerrera Hector Garza Abismo Negro Mr. Aguila (Essa Rios) Rules to be announced, but it will be a team format (possibly scored on points, or a round robin or maybe a double elimination tournament). February 11th!

February 11th! Hector Garza, and Abismo Negro suck. Juvi is awesome. And Aguilia has stayed pretty good over the years. Team TNA sounds awesome except for Skipper. I would of rather seen Daniels.
Lightning Flik Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Should be an interesting match up. I think the reason why Daniels isn't listed is probably because him and Low-Ki will begin the destruction of XXX storyline that TNA has started. Also, I think that Sabin-Juvi II will be interesting for a rematch.
Tawren Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Jerry Lynn - OK Chris Sabin - OK Elix Skipper - NO Sonjay Dutt - NO Juventud Guerrera - OK Hector Garza - NO Abismo Negro - NO Mr. Aguila (Essa Rios) - OK Batting 50/50 in my mind...I'll wait for a format to fully form a prediction.
The Buzz Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Sounds like it'll be an interesting show.
Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Does anyone have a reason as to why Hector Garza and Abismo Negro suck? What's wrong with them, specifically? I have never seen either.
DCMaximo Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I like the way Sonjay hasn't been in TNA since losing to Michael Shane about a month ago and is now in the X-Cup team. 3 guesses who is doing the job to the AAA guys. Still looks like a good set of matches though. I used to love Hector Garza in WCW, so I hope he's not as bad as people are saying he is now.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Hector Garza is not that bad. His WCW work was always solid for the most part. And he does hold a fluke win over Scott Hall.
Guest juvvy Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 All I have to say is... Juvvy VS Sonjay!
