I demand HBK vs Matt Hardy at WM damnit.

Bah. I still want Angle/HBK.

But right now that's not do-able

Why damnit, why?

They're on different shows and it appears Angle already has a feud starting with Guerrero.

Where-as Hardy has nothing going on(even though he's over) and HBK/HHH is in the process of ending.

I hereby decree that anytime someone mentions the Angle/Guerero feud, they have to finish it with "which is happening for no reason."

It's happening because Angle feels Eddie has no intergrity, and he should, like a true olympic champion.

What if in the triple threat match it is an elimination style match where the crippler cleanly beats both HHH and HBK? To me that would cement him as the star on raw. Or they could go the Wrestlemania 10 rout and do some type of 4 man tournament.

a) That describes half the roster, and b) Angle didn't seem to care last year when Eddie was playing the same character

Thats because he had other business to deal with.

Then it clearly was't important enough and should not be important enough three months later.

Angle wasn't afraid Eddie's lying, cheating and stealing ways would influence the good citizens of america, now he realizes just how powerful latino heatmania is, and must put an end to it.

All he needs is a cape.

Many feuds have started for no real reason. It's the WWE. Deal with it. At least (in this case) we get heel Angle again, and a good match.

How about the fact that despite the fact that Kurt cleaned up his act, Eddie's still more popular with the fans.

It could be an issue of petty jealousy.

Much more apparent in October.

He didn't realize in October, when it wasat it's height?

It isn't. He just wants you to shut the hell up.

Because Face Kurt sucks more cock than Paris Hilton. Angle's "when I win I'll dedicate it to the troops" is about as interesting as Bob Holly and his quest for vengeance.

Heel Angle >>>>>>> Face Angle.

I'm not eagerly awaiting Angle's fourth turn a little over two years, and I'm certainly not interested in seeing the bumbing, inept asshole routine return.

At least he is entertaining as a goof, unlike "nice guy Kurt who tries to mend family feuds, and dedicates victories to troops". That Kurt sucks.

And goof Kurt has no place any more.

The bumbling inept idiot goof that can't do anything right belongs in the midcard.

Then Angle belongs in the midcard. It's the only character he plays well, and the only one he really looks comfortable doing.

Plus, the character did do things right. You know, like winning World titles and stuff.

Correction. The character stumbled into good things.

So, becoming the #1 contender and beating the Rock for the WWF Title wasn't something done right?

He stumbled and bumbled past Rocky (thanks to Rikishi) and then tripped over himself for four months until the odds caught up with him.

I gotta agree with 'Sault on this one. The Eddy/Angle thing really did come out of nowhere and just because it is WWE, doesn't mean it's excusable and AS has a right to hold WWE Creative i.e. Vince accountable for the shitty ass storyline they have cooked up for Angle and Eddy.

All the reasons given like "Angle is sticking up for integrity" and whatnot are really reaching, even for smark levels. Why couldn't they have just started Angle and Eddy somehow in the ring? Some chance meeting in the ring like a dream partner match where both men could at least have started the feud in the ring. Not the lame ass way it was with Angle just sticking his nose in Eddy and Chavo's business for no real apparant reason whatsoever.

I'm now banking that in the next month they'll have Angle bust out his "let me explain everything" promo to help justify the lack of creativity from the writing team. Problem with that is if no one buys it, this feud will die a horrible death. That death will be a feud that has great in ring action and zero depth to the storyline.

Another thing to consider is if WWE will really give Eddy the belt. Why exactly would they give it to him anyways? Vince and Co. haven't shown me that they would be serious about pushing Eddy. Eddy's serious push should've happened 6 months ago. Brock could very well keep his belt since he goes on to WMXX and isn't jobbing to Goldberg, so it would be OK in WWE's eyes for Lesnar to have the belt going into Mania. If Angle and Eddy is not for the championship at Mania, I expect a technically great, but heatless match in March since the only thing we'll have to go on for the match is the lame ass storyline they've cooked up. The one AS has been bitching about since the beginning of this pathetic excuse for a feud.

Christ almighty.

What about winning the King of the Ring? Did he just stumble through qualifiying, and then the tournament itself?

Aw....he did? Could you remind me how? Seriously, I forgot. That was one shitty tournament.

Guest Anglesault

I don't remember the qualifying, but he caught every break on earth during the PPV.

Jericho beat him, but then Steph's appearence beat Jericho for him, he fought CRASH in the semis, and he fought Rikishi, who had been mugged by 800 people all night.

Guest BionicRedneck

But he just beat Crash and Rikishi, right? Wouldn't that be doing something "right".

The problem is that there's no way to justify it without defying logic or making up history.

A heel turn is over a combination of factors that could cause a babyface to turn into a petty, jealous asshole. Let's see...

-- Angle returned from neck surgery again, preaches family values due to the "Smackdown in Baghdad" show a week previous.

-- Eddie rejecting Angle's advice in his blood feud with Chavo (see above).

-- two frustrating Royal Rumble losses in one week, after Angle had promised victory to the troops.

-- being passed up for two shots at the WWE title, the same belt he had lost in a quasi-screwjob.

-- being passed up for a Mania main event, in favor of a guy (Eddie) who will probably win the title off Lesnar via cheating (Goldberg's interference, or something similar).

This just SCREAMS "petty, jealous asshole". All Angle has to do is look at his "Three I's" past, and there's more than enough evidence to believe this heel turn would make sense.

Hart/Austin in 1997, anyone?

But Angle's initial involvement in the family feud (The thing that causes at least one of those factors) makes no sense.
