A Happy Medium Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 heh. heh. heh. What a badass...
Red Baron Posted February 3, 2004 Author Report Posted February 3, 2004 I'd like to see AoO, Corey and all the metal heads comments on this, but whatever
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 he needs to practice scales so he has enough finger strength to do those hardass bends...
Guest macheteofodin Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I'd make fun of him if he actually was trying to proove his "skills" but he just seems to be dicking around.
ant_7000 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Well, its better than him trying to rap.
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I'm thinking of now quitting guitar and picking up the accordion because Durst's suckiness has shamed me so much.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Corey_Lazarus Posted on Feb 3 2004, 01:26 PM I'm thinking of now quitting guitar and picking up the accordion because Durst's suckiness has shamed me so much. I just got back from my psychiatrist, and he prescribed me 1 BLS album every 4 hours, or as needed. Perhaps you'd like to try that aswell.
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I've been on BLS for the past four years, when they were still in the experimental stage. I've built up a tolerance for BLS. Any other recommendations for something to prescribe?
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Soilwork It comes in potency levels listed as The Chainheart Machine, and Steelbath Suicide. Something of an alternative method of treatment, but it might work out.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 BLS is overrated. You clearly need to put Down's Nola on repeat.
Red Baron Posted February 8, 2004 Author Report Posted February 8, 2004 Corey. Listen to Meshuggah once every 4 hours, for the past week.
snuffbox Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 I suggest a steady diet of popping One Minute Silence and Relative Ash
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Well, I dig One Minute Silence, but we were talking GUITAR bands. OMS' guitarist is your generic nu-metal/hardcore guitarist that can write some decent riffs, but that's it (and yes, I know the guitarists for Sunna and Buy Now...Saved Later were different). And I've been prescribing Iron Maiden to myself ever since hearing that wretched noise produced by Fred's hands and his guitar.

I always thought Maiden's most indeliable aspect were the vocals, which really make the band stand out.
Guest wayzing Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Fred Durst!!! Give me that guitar, young man... WHAT is he doing? Is that part of their show every night?
