Wanna hear something sick?

Recommended Posts

So a while back I had some knee surgery. Torn ACL. I can't remember exactly when it was, but it was more than a year ago. So tonight I'm sitting here, and I scratch my knee and pull out a fucking thread. A stitch from a year ago.

I guess it's been hidden under some scar tissue all this time. I pulled about a half inch of it out, but no more will come, it's just hanging there. I feel like I'm going to unravel here. I'm halfway between going to the doctor and milking it to get out of work or just cutting it and moving on.

you can slowly pull it out with nothing happening, just don't go yanking on it hardcore style. I've had stitches before numerous times(not on anything as bad as a post ACL tear operation) and after the wound healed and the stitches started to itch I would always slowly pull them out. My doctor would always yell at me for doing it of course, but nothing negative came of it.

You haven't lived until you've had one doctor nearly kill you, and then another doctor OD you while treating what the other doctor did.

That's pretty much every Tuesday for me. Gets expensive after awhile though. And even though it's a cliche, "Good help is so hard to find."

There was a knot in it and I had to use pliers.

that's what fingernails or a steak knife is for...unless you used needlenose pliers.

Needlenose pliers it was. I tried with my fingernails, it wasn't getting me anywhere.

Ripped my ACL playing football in high school. Hobbling around on crutches in a football jersey with cheerleaders doting after me was the closest I've ever been to being... that kind of guy.

Yuck.

Closest thing like that to hapen to me was a piece of string coming out of my BUTT when I was a kid. Felt really strange pulling that out.

And how did you rip your ACL?...

Shit, one time I was on the bus and I overheard this girl telling her friend about someone she knows who was getting ready for a wedding and noticed some string hanging out of their dog's ass. They started pulling on it and it kept going and going until finally something just popped out and shit sprayed all over the place and all over the clothes they were going to wear to the wedding. Turns out the dog ate a softball.

That's hilarious! I'm less concerned about their clothes for the wedding and happier that nothing bad happened to the dog after eating the softball.

I half-expected TC to blow a gasket after seeing all the .....

How long ago did you blow out your knee IDRM?

How long ago did you blow out your knee IDRM?

Around 3 years ago initially, had to have two surgeries, it's been at almost 100% (minus the stitch) for like a year.
