Metal Gear Solid 3 is the only game I want this year, I've starting saving for the beast already, even without a release date set in concrete. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 I can't really say I'm anticipating MGS3. If this new game is more of the talking-heads bullshit, and jerking us around, then I won't change my opinion. Give me Metroids, both on the small and big screen, Konami goodness in may shapes and sizes (perhaps some GI Joe characters in that Smash Bros. style game they're working on? Because of the TFs, I figure they got something going on with Hasbro), perhaps a Smackdown or WM game that doesn't suck, a Gamecube Punch-Out! update, and a good, original Capcom fighter and I'll be mighty happy (revive All Stars!). Oh, back to games that I actually know are coming out and am reasonable sure are good... Or is Namco going to make "direct-to-console" releases now? The arcade market ain't what it used to be these days. I thought you hated Deadly Alliance? Deception will probably play just like it with a few additions. (The success of DA will have them in the "if it ain't broke" mindset.) FF XI FF XII MGS TS MGS 3 You WOULD! Nina Call me crazy, but while this won't top my list, if Namco can take have a mini-game like Tekken Force, and make a whole game that's in the same style but more ambitious, it could be damn good. From what I can gather, it may not have Snake in it either. It's supposedly set in the 1960's, meaning Snake wouldn't even be alive. Therefore the 'Snake' we've seen in the screenshots and videos released by Konami is actually Big Boss, the man Snake is an identical clone of.
