Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 I agree with the french part
Slayer Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Dynamic IP's make it hard to tell Slayer. IIRC, dynamic IPs still have the first two sets of numbers the same with the last two changing, so you could still establish a pattern. Not to mention there are other ways of tracing people in the net. My way of solving it: ban everyone. *Dames standing in the middle of a barren TSM* "Well, that takes care of the problem once and for all... wait... if everyone's banned, that includes me, therefore I can't possibly exist *begins to fade out of existence* Aw shit.... *pop!*"

Boner Kawanger Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 For a bunch of people who don't live in Puritan New England, we sure do say "Stop the witch hunt" alot...

Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 On a semi-related note... Who's this guy?
Guest stardust Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Eh, Game just didn't strike me as the type that'd come back, and Eagan had odd moderator beefs also. Game was banned at WDI at *least* a dozen times after he was first banned the first time. Dutch or someone can come in and confirm those headaches. Eagan seemed to have a beef with everyone. You would be correct, Sass. Gheyme came back again and again at WDI after being banned that first time.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 On a semi-related note... Who's this guy? czech republic's idea of a gimmick poster
k thx Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 On a semi-related note... Who's this guy? Get a map.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 My way of solving it: ban everyone. *Dames standing in the middle of a barren TSM* Dames: I finally have time to read my boards *spills coffee on tower which short circuits whole comp* No...no...I had all the time in the world no...its just not fair *Dames falls to knees* nooooooooooo
Slovakia Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 On a semi-related note... Who's this guy? That's me.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 On a semi-related note... Who's this guy? Get a map. Slovakia...Czech Republic... :: lightbulb :: Only took me 22 hours.

k thx Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 A quick bump to ask if anybody knows who Astro is. He went from being a gimmick poster last year to becoming a fairly regular "normal" poster in the middle of January. I am intrigued...
Guest Bottled Black Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Was it ever revealed who KidKrash was? Inquiring minds want to know. and what did said PBP do to become a PBP?
k thx Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Was it ever revealed who KidKrash was? Inquiring minds want to know. and what did said PBP do to become a PBP? Get banned? Most people are saying The Game, but the mods probably wont say.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 NY Untouchable = REAL Eagen. Eagen is a Bills fan. Bills play in Buffalo, NY. It fits! And I think the mods of done IP checks on me enough times already to have proof I'm not a PBP.
alfdogg Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 (edited) Eagen is a Bills fan. Bills play in Buffalo, NY. It fits! Well by that logic BPS (Bills fan) or Anglesault (Yankee fan) could be Eagan. Plus you're a Knicks fan, so I don't exactly see how this helps your argument. Edited February 10, 2004 by alfdogg
Cartman Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Why do you people hate French people?????? *cries*
treble Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 And I think the mods of done IP checks on me enough times already to have proof I'm not a PBP. You're still pretty horrible, though.
Sass Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 KidKrash was in fact the Game. The POLL~! results have it right.

It was suppose to be a joke on how his argument I think was because "I'm annoying", which is about 50% of the people on this board.
Damaramu Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 I have a message from the supposed "gheyme" as you guys so eloquently put it. The Game 2705: just say yeah, he was The Game 2705 The Game 2705: BUT I never even went to the first UGS so Corky 2000, the advanced autistic is trying to get himself over on a messageboard The Game 2705: people really should learn how to spell Eagan The Game 2705: and that I never even mentioned L4W except that he hardly posts yet he's a mod The Game 2705: but as usual CWM's an idiot That's what he has to say about the situation.
Art Sandusky Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Thank you for the riveting news.

Guest Banders Kennany Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 Dynamic IP's make it hard to tell Slayer. My way of solving it: ban everyone. I thought dynamic IPs are IPs that never change (cable modem/braodband), whereas dialup changes everytime you log on.
The Man in Blak Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 I thought dynamic IPs are IPs that never change (cable modem/braodband), whereas dialup changes everytime you log on. Er, well, you're half right. Cable/Broadband connection typically use static IPs, which are IPs that never change, but dialup uses dynamic IP addresses, which are IPs that change every time you dial up to your ISP. You fucking asshat. </mandatory flame>
