Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 (edited) Put spoilers if you need 'em, or if you don't know yet. We've got about two weeks to go, so what's on the agenda? I know Tom is writing up the X Cup for the show, but I know there is other stuff being put on the show also. For moi, we're having...(don't scroll down unless you want it spoiled). Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Well I don't want to spoil anything really but......... Ryan Smith fights for his job back in a match against Damaramu's "friend".

Dr. Zoidberg 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 yes...Zack got it right on the money there. Zackers...do we want any stips to yonder match at all? or do we want just a straight wrestling match, which would be a nice change of pace. EDIT: NEVERMIND!~!~! Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 No need for spoiler tags anymore. CWM vs. Hoff in an unsanctioned brawl...anything can happen!
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 I don't know if you guys actually read what I posted above, but there honestly won't be room for more than 3-4 matches besides the X Cup because a) a 13-match three-hour show is pretty unrealistic and b)the show subtitle is "Night of the X"...if everyone else is doing all their crap and the X Cup is like 1/54th of the show, then that wouldn't make too much sense. I'm not trying to be mean; I'm trying to be senseful.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Right, stop doing our storylines so you can do your tournament! Good idea! Unrealistic? That's why it's an e-fed.
Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 SS, kind of has a point. Even if there are thirteen matches, so what? It's not like the show is actually on TV and has a time slot that its limited to.
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 8, 2004 You could even make some of those 13 matches relatively short. I know it hurts, but that's what happens when you make a painfully long tournament.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Does anyone know what the IZ guys are doing? This is a joint production, right, or did I miss something?
Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 All the PPV's are joint. I don't think this one is any different.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Also, my match could be short. Might work well with the plans, actually.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Well I'm not getting rid of my match. I HAVE to have it at the PPV. So it's going on. And SS is right. I'm not going to halt my storyline for the tournament. Besides it's not real.......I don't think there is any time limit. And we all know AM is going to be longer than this b/c EVERYONE will have a match on that show. Who are we sending this stuff to?
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 8, 2004 And we all know AM is going to be longer than this b/c EVERYONE will have a match on that show. Except for me as I have no feud, nor does it look like there's enough time to draw one out since I'm old school and believe a truly good one is drawn out for like 2months before a payoff. Well they did always have those "Bonus Matches" at older WM that were just their to get someone's name out. That's old school....they don't even do that anymore. Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 There have been 12 match 3 hour shows on pay-per-views before. WWF and WCW did that for about 2 or 3 months in 1999 (WWF Survivor Series 1999, WCW Mayhem). As for what I'm sending for the show: Puerto Rican Lightning and The Mad Cappa have a contract signing for their Puerto Rican Championship match at OaOasT AngleMania III: What It All Comes Down To. That's all I'm sending for the show.

Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 The PPV will be a special Four Hour broadcast. Sly's still with the OAOAST. Anyone has a problem, they can take it up with me, because if he goes, Malibu goes, and I doubt ANY of you want that to happen. I'm not kicking off '04 with more e-fed drama like last year. I don't think anyone was saying they want Sly to go. We were just saying we are still running our matches and we weren't going to not have them b/c he said we wouldn't have time. I don't recall anyone saying that Sly should hit the road.....unless you were PM'd about it.

Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 No, Sly told me personally he'd quit to avoid any fights, and I'm curbing that as much as I can.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 No, Sly told me personally he'd quit to avoid any fights, and I'm curbing that as much as I can. But who was going to fight with him? We just said that we were still going to have our matches and he could have his tournament.....no problem with a long PPV. I mean if he'd come back and said "No you can't have your matches. Tournament only." then there might have been a problem. But I seriously doubt he was going to do that. Where was the fight coming in at? I really want to know. He never said anyone was specifically going to fight him. But I know Tom well enough to know that instead of anything breaking down into fisticuffs, he was just going to quietly fade away. No fingers got pointed, he didn't pin blame on anyone. That was my wording, not his. He just didn't want to cause a ruckus, and I'm fairly certain we've curbed that, so let's just move on with it. Dr. Zoidberg 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 that's honorable, but the real point here is how bad Ragdoll wants to get his hands on Zack Malibu!~ Ragdoll! Zack Malibu! ZERO HOUR!!
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I'll also be sending in an OaOasT AngleMania III countdown ad.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2004 So who do we need to send the segments to again?
Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Well, here's the segments as I count them so far: Zack vs. Ragdoll (unless we hear otherwise) Ryan Smith vs. Skull Mask Superstar vs. Poplex vs. Schaffer CWM v. Hoff PRL and Mad Cappa's signing Axel, Gunner Sharps and TNT vs. K Money, AJ Flaire, Peter Knight and Panther Anglemania III countdown ad The X cup (7 matches, I believe) So that'll end up being 12 matches, and 14 segments total, which is actually pretty impressive. It just seems small, I think, because we've been grouping the X Cup together.
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Scott Lunde will be in the back before the show. He will most likely rib Malibu by shitting in his gym bag. AM III will be Lunde's PPV debut
