Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 If they are already in talks with Proof, why not just get the whole group. D-12 (Dirty Dozen, AS) would be fine, especially since they are in New York, not in Victoria, Texas.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 9, 2004 The group is NOTHING without Eminem in terms of Mainstream appeal...So might as well get him...Eminem would likely turn it down because he's actually intelligent and knows they would hype EMINEM at WM and not D12. Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted February 10, 2004 "Guns N' Roses: Greatest Hits" is being released March 23rd. Coincidence? Some guy posted this on a GNR board: STRAIGHT FROM THE MAT - W365 NEWSWIRE Wrestling365 has learned that the latest incarnation of Guns N' Roses are negotiating with WWE reps to perform live at WrestleMania XX. The band have recently recorded a remake of "Welcome To The Jungle" which could end up being the official pay-per-view theme song. A WWE insider told us: "Nothing is confirmed but we're keeping our fingers crossed."

Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 10, 2004 Eminem doesn't like it when He gets top billing over his buddies... he's adament about that.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 10, 2004 Well, that's a shame. D2 has no business on the show w/o him, so if he won't do it, leave them off.

I want the two old school WrestleMania theme songs or some classical piece of music (like that song used for Hogan/Sting from Starrcade 1997) to be used damnit! Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted February 10, 2004 Whoever wrote that "W365 NEWSWIRE" piece was just stretching the original article about the Layzie/GNR collaboration. Wrestling 365 is an E-Mail newsletter that claims to be "the most popular wrestling news source in the world", mind you.
notJames 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2004 Feh... they could raise Elvis and the Beatles from the dead and have them play. Still wouldn't change the fact that it would be a welcome piss break for me, seeing as how I'm watching WrestleMania for the wrestling. Feh.
