MrRant Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 New Batman Cartoon coming soon. Adam West~!
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Call me when a new Ghostbusters cartoon comes out.
Ted the Poster Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Damn it, Rant beat me by four friggin' minutes. Oh well; any mod out there feel free to delete my post.
DangerousDamon Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Dammit. Why does it have THE in the title? Does anyone really call him THE Batmam?!
HarleyQuinn Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 *demands Hamill as voice of Joker* Anybody know if Gershon voiced Catwoman in B:TAS? I have a feeling she did but I can't remember
Guest EQ Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Is Kevin Conroy voicing Bruce/Batman?
Insane Bump Machine Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Adrienne Barbeau voiced Catwoman in TAS.
HarleyQuinn Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Whoa...didn't even realize she was Ruthie in Carnivale! Meh, if I listened to the voices harder I'd probably recognize it a bit. Here's hoping Gina does well but I'm too attached to the voice actors from B:TAS
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Dammit. Why does it have THE in the title? Does anyone really call him THE Batmam?! I always liked The Batman more then just Batman. It sounded more noirish and pulpy.
Vyce Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 As much as I love Batman, this could turn very bad if they decide to go a more Teen Titans route with this.

It sounded more noirish and pulpy. Agreed. It also establishes him as an "urban legend" (even though he's too exposed to be one in the comics, it is believable during his early years) rather than "just" a super-hero. Anyway, this is GREAT news. I've been waiting years for another solo Bat-toon. Hopefully Paul Dini will write a few episodes.
Guest SP-1 Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I'm diggin' it. But I'd also like a new Ghostbusters cartoon. When is the new comic coming out anyway?
Highland Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Is Kevin Conroy voicing Bruce/Batman? I hope so; it's just not the same without him. Hell when I'm reading my comics I hear Conroy's voice in my head when I read every line Bruce/Batman says.
Highland Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 *demands Hamill as voice of Joker* *joins in demands*
dubq Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Is Kevin Conroy voicing Bruce/Batman? I hope so; it's just not the same without him. Hell when I'm reading my comics I hear Conroy's voice in my head when I read every line Bruce/Batman says. Kevin Conroy will always be Batman's voice for me..
DangerousDamon Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 To me, Kevin Conroy is THE Batman and Hamill is THE Joker.
DrVenkman PhD Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Remember EXTREME Ghostbusters? Do me a favour and please never make another GB toon again, that politically correct piece of junk almost ruined the whole legacy. Kevin Conroy as Batman > *
Guest EQ Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Kevin Conroy as Batman > * haha, I like the notation. i agree btw
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 They lifted the costume from Year One... good call.
Guest JMA Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 The image isn't working for me. Damn, I really wanna see it... Edit: Duh. I can just go to the URL. It's working for me now, though.
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 But I'd also like a new Ghostbusters cartoon. When is the new comic coming out anyway? Supposedly dropped today.
HarleyQuinn Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Toon Zone Toon Zone's apparently confirmed the voice cast Rino Romano: Batman Alastair Duncan: Alfred Kevin Michael Richardson: The Joker Tom Kenny: The Penguin Gina Gershon: Catwoman Steve Harris: Clayface/Evan Bennett Adam West: Mayor Grange Ming Na: Detective Ellen Yin *scowls at Kevin Michael Richardson(Kramer from Seinfeld) and Rino Romano* So much for Conroy and Hamill... *goes off to watch old B:TAS eps*

Guest JMA Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I could see Michael Richardson doing a good Joker. He's shown he can do the "wacky and crazy" character (hell, he's been typecast as it). Hopefully this show will do better than the ill-fated MTV Spider-Man (whatever happened to it?).
Guest FrigidSoul Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 The Joker is going to stumble through every door he opens.
DangerousDamon Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Rino Romano: Batman BOOO! He is best known for Spider Man Unlimited on Fox and the two Spider Man games for PS2. His style of voice acting might be too funny to play "The Batman" but nevertheless, i'll give him a chance.
Guest EQ Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I don't mean to shit on Romano here, but Conroy really is awesome at playing the character.
Guest El Satanico Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Well, would Conroy be suitable for a younger Batman?
Guest EQ Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Well, would Conroy be suitable for a younger Batman? I always bought it when they did flashbacks in Batman TAS and Mask of the Phantasm
