Renegade Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Nobody gets sick of Bill & Ted quotes. And if they do, kick 'em in the face. King: "Put them...in the IRON MAIDEN..." Bill/Ted: "Iron Maiden!" **do the guitar solo** King: "Torture them...EXECUTE them!" Bill/Ted: "Boooogus!" SOCRATES! Abe Lincoln: "Party on, dudes!" And I'll kick them in the crotch Bill: Oh, Dude! Let's bail. We blew it. I guess we used too much power. Ted, while I agree that in time our band will be most triumphant, the truth is Wyld Stallyns will never be a super band until we have Eddie Van Halen on guitar. Ted: Yes Bill, but I do not believe we will get Eddie Van Halen until we have a triumphant video. Bill: Ted, it's pointless to have a triumphant video before we even have decent instruments. Ted: Well how can we have decent instruments when we really don't even know how to play. Bill: That is why we need Eddie Van Halen. Ted: And that is why we need a triumphant video. (Pause) Both: Excellent. (Air Guitar.)
The Czech Republic Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Austin Powers. The next person to say "My fazher" gets a red-hot poker up the ass.
Steve J. Rogers Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 I'm surprised no one has mentioned obviously the greatest single catch phrase in the history of film. In fact, Mike Myers should be inducted into every possible screenwriters hall of fame for this gem... NOT!
Mecha Mummy Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 I don't want to live in a world where Python quotes are lame. Austin Powers all the way, I hate that fucking franchise now. I was guilty of quoting it when I was, like, eleven, but now I've grown past it.

godthedog Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 'forrest gump'. one of my best friends in high school was named jenny, and i swear every fucking guy who either hung out with her or tried to get her attention would say "why don't you love me, jenny? i am not a smart man, but i know what love is."
AndrewTS Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 So, I guess MST3K movie quotes aren't annoying. Thought not. I picked Austin Powers. If another movie comes out, I just know I'm going to hear more quotes from that movie.... Then I'd like to sentence each and every one of the quoters to TORCHA!!
Kaertos Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 The only line from any Austin Powers movie I or my friend's have used with any frequency was, "How about NO!! you crazy Dutch bastard!!" which for some reason is funny as hell. Although, for some reason, "Would you like a shmoke & a pancake? A bong and a blintz? ... " is getting some play recently.
Vern Gagne Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 I get annoyed by Bill and Ted quotes. *Prepares to be kicked in head, and the groin*
Toshiaki Koala Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Any Adam Sandler movie. He's not funny!
The Metal Maniac Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Austin Powers. I didn't even find the first movie funny, because I had literally already heard every single joke from it beforehand.
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 I get annoyed by Bill and Ted quotes. *Prepares to be kicked in head, and the groin* **kicks Vern in the head, and then plays air guitar**
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Off topic... but I hate it when people don't get my Mel Brooks quotes. Yeah... they'd do it for Randolph Scott! :holds hat in reverence a page later:
notJames Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 I hate how one Monty Python quote will degenerate into whole pages of random dialogue from all the movies, whether they adhere to the initial context or not. This usually happens with wannabe theatre majors and Renaissance Festival-goers, and it's all I can do to resist smacking them in their collective grille. Austin Powers quotes get kinda lame after a while, too.
