razazteca 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 There are not enough tag teams on Raw so unless you want to see Dudley vs La Restitence for another 18 months, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. In order for the Dudley Boys to be entertaining there must be at least 3 more regular tag teams for them to smack around before the act gets boring. Thus, this made them look VERY weak when restablished as a tag team, as in they couldn't hack it in singles competition. Also, there is no good reason to not make them upper lever heels. These guys were awesome heels in their ECW run where they were given good material to use to feed the crowd. It hasn't happened at all in WWE, nor will it. Also, I think a big problem is the value of the 3D. It's still the best tag team move in the business I feel. Since when did an elevated neckbreaker hurt the ribs though? 3D through a table is retarded. The table gimmick is retarded. They should be able to put people through tables because it's against the rules and they are heels who don't give a shit. Not because it's part of their repeatitive spots. The 3D should be made to look like if it connects, not only is the match over...but the victim may be hospitalized. Sort of like ECW was heading for. Have Gertner and Sign Guy with them...then have them suddenly go extreme again. Beat the crap out of Matt and John from Tough Enough and totally destroy them...then the same to Dreamer and someone, to allow Dreamer to go down to OVW. RVD and Booker take exception to the new hell Duds, and a fued is born. At the very least it'd give them some interest to the general and more so to the ECW fans again. It's not like the Dudleys were peaceful, law-abiding mormons in ECW. They're stale because they're exactly the same characters they were ten years ago. The WWE has figured this out and put them where they can actually be of use to the company - opening the show and firing up the live crowd. I don't see a problem with this.
