HarleyQuinn Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Can't wait though I sadly pulled a muscle in my back(very nicely might I add) so whenever I move it hurts like a bitch. Just wanted to vent somewhere heh. However if I don't appear odds are I'm on the ground in pain...nah not that serious but it's getting up there in terms of really annoying injuries.
Vern Gagne Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Nothing changes for me. I had no plan going in. Just looking for players at each position that will best help me win.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Nothing changes for me. I had no plan going in. Just looking for players at each position that will best help me win. Same really. .... We'll both be the worst two teams in the league.
Vern Gagne Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I've never drafted live before. It's all been autodraft. So I'll probably end up with Mike Cubbage has my 3rd Basemen.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 So I guess its what, an hour to draft...
Styles Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Nothing changes for me. I had no plan going in. Just looking for players at each position that will best help me win. Same really. .... We'll both be the worst two teams in the league. Same here. I never have a grand plan because all the players I want will be taken and I will be left flustered I just asses what holes I have at each round and look at a list of the best avaliable players at the position...
Guest OctoberBlood Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Just pick an all Reds lineup Yeah! I'll pick Juan Castro and Brandon Larson! With Jimmy Haynes as my #1!!1
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 are we drafting in a chat or on the board or what?
razazteca Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I got my cheat sheets from 4 different websites ready for reference. I am so ready I'm ready! *Rips shirt, Whoooooooooooo*
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I got my cheat sheets from 4 different websites ready for reference. I am so ready I'm ready! *Rips shirt, Whoooooooooooo* and 5 minutes in, you'll be ripping up your cheat sheets. Last I understood, the draft is in AIM chat.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 you know those cheat sheets will be for 10 stat leagues and we have like 24? *evil laugh* oh yeah, AIM name: godzilla 822
Lightning Flik Posted February 24, 2004 Author Report Posted February 24, 2004 I believe Flik will be posting the results of each round here...so we will know who got picked. He could clear that up though... After each round is completed, I will make up a post in this thread about who the hell took what pick for that round. Yes, expect every round to be posted, and in this thread as the very last post. So no freaking posting in this thread while the draft is going on. Can't wait though I sadly pulled a muscle in my back(very nicely might I add) so whenever I move it hurts like a bitch. Just wanted to vent somewhere heh. However if I don't appear odds are I'm on the ground in pain...nah not that serious but it's getting up there in terms of really annoying injuries. I've got a fucking blood bruise on my right foot, around the heel, so I can barely walk. I won't be going any fucking where. You can be assured of that. Nothing changes for me. I had no plan going in. Just looking for players at each position that will best help me win. Hmph... Nice one. Especially since you got such a nice draft pick. Same really. .... We'll both be the worst two teams in the league. I'm going to be dead last. I've got the last draft pick after all. I've never drafted live before. It's all been autodraft. So I'll probably end up with Mike Cubbage has my 3rd Basemen. Autodraft sucks. This will be live, in color, and on AIM. You all will be on or face the consquences of what you don't do.
razazteca Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Hey its not just mock drafts from the fan sites its all about "expert" commentaries from sport authorities. I also have Dennis Rodman on call just in case.

EVIL~! alkeiper Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 you know those cheat sheets will be for 10 stat leagues and we have like 24? *evil laugh* oh yeah, AIM name: godzilla 822 Doesn't effect my strategy for the most part, except that steals lose a ton of value. A good hitter is a good hitter. For the draft, I'm writing up a checklist on excel for myself which should assist nicely.
razazteca Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I got John Kruk and Bo Jackson giving me cooking tips................hm sweet potato pie. Can we start this draft early?
Lightning Flik Posted February 24, 2004 Author Report Posted February 24, 2004 EVERYONE WILL BE OWNED BY SANDYMAN! ...that is all.
Sandman9000 Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Well, I thought I was calling a ballgame tonight, but it appears I'm not. Boourns. So, I guess I'm here to fuck my draft up in person. Can I take Yao Ming with my #1 pick?

You'll steal many good players with your bluffing style.

MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 The BIG question.. Whos gonna be the sucker to draft Ken Griffey JR and how fast will they do it.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 boldened by the success of his Vince Carter pick, Al takes Griffey in the first round either that or Quinten McCracken

No. I want this all freaking done TONIGHT... If possible. It might take two days, depending on swiftly this goes.
Bored Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I'd avoid taking Cap Anson since he's been dead for 82 years. Anyways I got a huge SWERVE~ for the #1 pick overall. Okay not really.
Cartman Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I'm here and ready whenever Nomahhhhh05 is my AIM name in case you forgot
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 boldened by the success of his Vince Carter pick, Al takes Griffey in the first round either that or Quinten McCracken Hey, Carter produced and I flipped him for Antawn Jamison moments BEFORE his injury. I swear I had no knowledge of the injury when I traded him. None at all.
