I have setup the AL/NL TSM Yahoo league. It's 12 teams, so there are 11 open spots. Standard roto scoring, with the substitution of OBP for BA. If you're interested in this league, then PM me for the password. Do not share the password with anyone else if you wish to remain in the league. This will basically be first-come first-serve, but I have one or two people I'm putting in the league no matter what, and I reserve the right to refuse entry to any tards who PM me.

IMPORTANT EDIT: It's a live draft, scheduled for Monday, March 8th at 7:00 PM ET.

...wtf???

I just set one up in Yahoo, now Tom's setting one up as well?

At least you've got a better drafting time then me.

Couldn't you at least have gone to my thread I had made Tom and told me this ahead of time? Cause I signed up at least 8 people Tom.

Tom had mentioned it in the offseason thread last week. Could just delete your league and people could then join Tom's. Al has an AL-only and NL-only league so there are plenty of league's for people to join.

Plenty of people here play fantasy baseball. We had at least 2 leagues running last year.

Sure... But I stole all the good people Tom. happykit.gif

Besides, I just wanted to be in the "one" league. Since I didn't see the "one" league posted up yet, I figured to do so.

So sorry for stealing your thundar.

I'm the one in the league with the team name having the initials KSS

This is a ways off yet, but what do people think about a fantasy "champion of champions" playoff game? Basically, the winners of the four leagues of this board would draft from players on the eight playoff teams. Just like a regular season game, you'd try and accumulate the best stats. Of course, the catch is you could lose players from your team as they are eliminated from the playoffs. What do you think?

I did find it amusing that the computer gave you Gary Sheffield for the first pick.

I think this might've been the one where I actually did an auto draft of picks.

That might've been why Sheffield was picked first. Although, I'm kinda suprised. As I had someone else slated as my first overall draft pick. Sheffield wasn't my first true choice (actually about fourth).

About the only thing I don't like is the fact that I don't have a strong SS (by strong, I mean like the top 5). But those are pretty much hard to find.

Al, just curious, how soon would you have taken Sheff?

Hard to say. ESPN is reporting that he plans to keep playing. I honestly don't know what to make of his condition, or how it will effect him. I'd take him with my first bench pick, and let someone else take the risk.

Where is the analysis Al?

I'm digging my team as well. Very solid from top to bottom with the exception of catcher(Matt LeCroy) however LeCroy should still be solid(Projected for 25 HR's, 93 RBI's in 500 AB's in 2003, 27 HR's, 102 RBI's in 550 AB's in 2003 based on final totals). Starting Rotation's quite solid with Nomo, Lowe who should have a great bounce back and Zito. Great bullpen in Smoltz and Mota with a solid staff left over in Batista, K-Rod and Brad Lidge.

This being some what of an All-Star league it's kinda hard not to like the team you have at this point.

Since some of us were wondering why we ended up with 11 teams instead of 12, looking at the thread it appears FrigidSoul was the one who jumped ship.
