Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted February 20, 2004 For most improved guy on the stick. Is it just me or has he gotten fucking awesome?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 He still is a lil bit rough around the edges, but generally yes, Brock has greatly improved and I enjoy listening to him speak. He's developed a personality behind the mic and is (more) comfortable behind it (though he still seems nervous).
Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 He has improved, and he can only get better. Isn't he only around 27 years old?

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 His plea to Go..I mean Vince on Smackdown to let him have Goldberg was quite possibly the worst solo in ring mic work I've seen in 5 or 6 years.

Then again, I dont even think the Rock could cut that kind of promo and make it sound good... especially if it was a scripted promo, and if thats the case the fault lies with the writers
Guest Coffey Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Well, by comparison, who else has really been giving the opportunity that Brock has? Not a lot of people get as much TV time as him, nor as much mic time as him. So, they don't really get the ability to improve. The only person I can think of getting mic time recently is Randy Orton. He's not all that great either. I really think that Batista could develop well behind the stick. He showed early signs.
Guest Corino 1000 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Yes Lesnar has really improved from when he debuted. He's gotten alot better on the mic as everyone has mention and has gained more experience in ring.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 He has improved, and he can only get better. Isn't he only around 27 years old? I think he's 23 or 24... In the Smackdown 5 video game he says he's 25, so he's probably 26 now.
JJMc 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I really think that Batista could develop well behind the stick. He showed early signs. Now there's a guy I'd like to listen to. Get him away from Evolution, though. He just gets lost in the shuffle. He seems like he'd be pretty good, or at least not any worse than everyone else. -Jim
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Brock is 26. He'll turn 27 in July. His NCAA Championship win was in 2000.
Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I just find him uninteresting on the mike. I'd much prefer him with a manager like he was with Heyman to cover up for the fact that he just isn't all that good on the mike, if we must give him interview time
Guest Ray Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Pyscho confused attention-seeking heel Brock rules on the mic.
Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Brock has amazingly improved on the mic, considering that he was a "silent monster" when he debuted and his first words on tv were two weeks in and they were, "AHRR!."
Guest Deviant Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Brock is better now, but still nothing special. You can tell when he loses his focus and changes stuff around or just screws up his line. That's the key problem with scripted promos, Brock for one is far too nervous trying to remember everything rather than letting it flow.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Having Paul Heyman speak for him when he first came to WWE, among other things, definitely got him over as a despicable heel, although, though I preferred the former, a little more mic time wouldn't've gone astray. Brock may be no Rock (they have completely different styles) - but who's to say that he can't get any better?
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Brock doesn't do his talking on the mic - he does it wrestling.

Guest Suicide King Report post Posted February 22, 2004 I would agree. I did not get a wussy/wimpy feeling at all from that. I got a man who is so very very angry that he has completely looped around hatred and is coming at it from the other side. He is desperate as a previous poster said, and he is desperate to bring a very real boatload of pain to Mr. Goldberg.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 Brock's much better then he started out. It was a great idea to stick him with Paul E. till he got good enough on his own...still has room to go to be great, but he's pretty good right now.
