Guest hunger4unger Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Mine are RD Wingfield (he does the A Touch Of Frost) books, Reginald Hill, Minette Walters and Peter Robinson. I've just had a total mark out moment too..in the Peter Robinson book that i'm reading, two of the characters had gone out for a drink to the town where I live. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2004 The only books like that I read are the Alex Cross books written by James Patterson. Other then that I'm a horror guy.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Old school, yeah, but I love Holmes. LOVE HIM. I was lucky enough to find some of the BBC Radio dramatizations of some of the Holmes stories at my local library, and my interest has been rekindled these past few months. Guest frowned Report post Posted March 10, 2004 recently I enjoyed "Chinese Whispers" by Peter May and some of the Inspector Montalbano books from Andrea Camilleri. Not been a huge fan of the genre cos it's full of cliches and generally lacks originality, but it's nice as an occasional indulgence. And the characterisation in the Montalbano books is fantastic. Betty Houle 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Finally! Someone who shares my Leonard love! Most definitely! I could never watch GET SHORTY after readin the book, btw. Am I the only one that feels that way?
Cheex Incarnate 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I can stand Get Shorty, but what I'm really excited about is that they're making a movie out of Shorty's sequel, Be Cool. Listen to this cast; John Travolta Uma Thurman Harvey Kietel Vince Vaughn Cedric the Entertainer Christina Milian The Rock Steve Perry and possibly a return of James Gandolfini (even though his character he played in Get Shorty wasnt in Be Cool) -Cheex
Betty Houle 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 John Travolta? I won't be watching this movie either.
