Red Baron Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Actually is Ellfson that doesn't want to join Megadeth and is the reason why Menza and Friedman not joining as well. Just get Mustaine, Poland, Newsted, Lombardo...now thats a solid line-up

I dunno, I just never dug Megadeth, most especially Mustaine. I mean, there's a REASON that Hetfield ended up singing for Metallica, even though he didn't really want to.

I dunno, I just never dug Megadeth, most especially Mustaine. I mean, there's a REASON that Hetfield ended up singing for Metallica, even though he didn't really want to. James didn't want to sing, he just wanted to play guitar. He knew that the band had tons of potential in going anywhere, and really pressured John Bosh of Armored Saint at the time to do the vocals for Metallica, and becoming a 5-piece.

converge241 Posted March 3, 2004 Author Report Posted March 3, 2004 i love megadeth but yes i can admit mustaine is kind of a dick and not a great singer but you can feel his passion for the music it becomes tangible sometimes thats better than a great guy or great "technical" player/singer id love for him to get newstead or some other people from the old scene like an all star thrash band and just go do a club tour and just give a great big metal FU every night
