Having his "little girlfriend" on the sidelines will eventually get annoying, and leech his heat. -Christian needs to go over at WM XX in order for a Y2J/Christian rematch to be setup a Backlash, and to appear to be in Jericho's league. Without a super swerve, the fans won't buy a Christian victory at 'Mania. -Trish's marketing appeal has been slowly fading, and the WWE recently capitalized on her with the Stratus DVD, despite whatever its sales (or lack thereof) were. With that out already, she can turn. -Trish has been shifted out of the face WWE Women's Division girls...and replaced with Victoria as the champ/glamorous face. -Once Trish and Jericho "hook up"...no one will fucking care anymore. What, are they going to show Y2J (the smartass) walking around holding hands and going on picnics with Stratus? PLUS... -Jericho has a knack for cutting devastatingly funny promos on women. "You've got THE GORE...and the WHORE..." "I apologize to all the filthy, dirty, bottom-feeding, trashbag...." "I'm gonna tame that slimy, mangy animal...and I'm gonna get you too, Rhyno!" They just all seem so damn childish and immature. I wouldn't mind Trish turning heel...if Jericho was heel. If Jericho is turning face, she shouldn't turn heel. Although she could help get Christian more heat...he needs to be on his own too. Jericho & Trish need to get together, at least for a little while, because the fans will be pissed otherwise. It would be just like the Steph/Angle/Hunter Love Triangle all over again.

I see Christian winning at WM (probably by hooking the tights or something else equally cliched) with Jericho winning the rematch at Backlash.

That's like bragging about getting some fat chick to go out with you after the prom queen publicly turns you down. Don't get me wrong... I like Christian. I just don't have any hopes for him breaking out into anything significant after WM, let alone boosting Jericho back into contention.

Guest Choken One Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 I have a feeling they will go with the WM7 finish(Guy loses but gets the girl) here but altered slightly...Jericho loses via X's cheating...Trish comes out or enters ring and he gives this "I'm a loser" type look and Trish comes up him and plants one...and MSG and the world goes "AWW"... That way...X can claim he won...Jericho gets the girl (and that's all people will remember)...No remembers that Savage finisher got FUCKED during the match and jobbed out but they remember he and Liz got together after a long hiatus.... Here, Jericho finally gets the girl he loves.

Torrie needs it WAY more and it would fit her character like a con--er, glove. Trish as a heel never really grabbed me. Maybe because she was really, really bad on the mic and in the ring when she was a heel, but she doesn't seem to be able to pull it off well.

I hate the fact that WWE even had Jericho to turn back into a face when he was more entertaining as a heel. I'm not liking pissed-off pussy-whipped face Jericho too much. Sure, it might be a little better than hearing him say "Would you please......SHUT, the hell, UP?!" and using childish insults to piss heels off, but I still thought it was a big mistake for WWE to turn Jericho back into the role he plays the worst at: A face. Say what you will about him getting major pops as a face, but Jericho as a face in WWE just doesn't cut it.
