Fuck Popick. Once he asked if anyone had a key for Photoshop 6.0 that they would be willing to share, so I PMed mine to him. I waited a couple of days for a "thank you" or something along those lines, and nothing. So I send another PM asking if the key worked, and still, no response. It only took me bending him over and making demand after demand after demand to do so. I got my way though and in doing so pissed off several people, some of which want nothing to do with the place anymore. I however find nothing wrong with this because I SAVED THE BOARD!

But, given that guys from AngleSault to Tony agree that it was past a point of good taste, I'd say that must mean something. Maybe we do things different down in OAOAST-land than in the SWF. Both can be proper ways of doing things, so I'm not knocking your system.

 

The decision to remove the material was a decision made by the OAOAST mods. Of which I am one, and I did ask for it to happen. If I acted of my own volition, then I probably would have been stripped of mod duties there.

The problem is you're not letting it be posted out of OAOAST territory. If the board mods have a problem with that, then that's their decision. But I believe anyone who represses the expression of creative work is acting in the wrong.

 

This is not about the First Amendment, this about people who put time and effort into something only to have it blocked. This isn't about how the SWF or the OAOAST do things.

 

I for one will not be satisfied until the match is made available in some form to be read by anyone who wants to.
