Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I just read at PWInsider that Brock and Sable are in a relationship. Is this true or BS? Didn't Brock just have a kid a while ago? I thought Brock and Sable were just good friends. I think Brock and his wife split up before his WWE two year stint (I think, don't quote). At some point Lesnar and Sable took their friendly relationship and upgraded it to lovers. That's about all I know of it.
Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I wish they had time to make this a double retirement match. They could have booked it as the ultimate RAW vs. SD match, because in the end when it is all said and done, one of the brands would be losing one of their top guys. Loser leaves town match. Austin calls for a Double-DQ. That would have been great

haVoc 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Besides Lesnar, all the older stars and draws are leaving or retiring and you guys are saying it's the end of WWE. Shows how much faith you have in the younger and newer talent on top including Eddie and Benoit. Ok, first are you a complete insane? We are saying that too much shit is going on behind the scenes that this isn't good. You have the backlash of Lesnar leaving that it isn't good. The morale of the roster probably took a hell of a nosedive because of it. Are you insane? Everyone hates Brock remember? Why would the morale go down if he left? They should mention this on TV, and they should do so in a way that makes it look like it's not very important to the future of the company. It could really help the image of guys like Benoit and Eddi, especially if they both are champs soon, in the eyes of joe blow fan.

They should do it on Heat, and really build that up the entire show. I'm sure that would even get a few more people to order the show at the last minute. Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted March 10, 2004 What we have here, folks, is proof that Brock is smarter than Kurt Angle. If Lesnar was really smart, he would've waited until WrestleMania was over to tell Vince that he was quitting. That way, Lesnar could have basically guaranteed himself a win against Goldberg before leaving. I'm actually shocked no idiot has gone "YOU THINK TNA WILL PICK HIM UP? THEY HAVE TO! STYLES/LESNAR BABY! WHOO!" Who'd want to see Styles get squashed? I say PUSH PAUL LONDON. Well, HHH does need a new opponent to squash at WMXXI... No, No, No! WARRIOR needs him for Mania XXI... At this rate, I'd be surprised if WWE can even make it to WrestleMania XXI.

The morale of the roster probably took a hell of a nosedive because of it. Are you insane? Everyone hates Brock remember? Why would the morale go down if he left? Everyone may hate Brock (I say may, cause I doubt everyone does), but this still doesn't look good for the morale. Because why would Vincent Kennedy McMahon want to promote new talent when his newest star goes bye bye on him after everything he's given Brock? Besides those given their pushes before hand and those that the company desperately is force feeding us, it most likely will revert to the old guard being on top for a very long time. Hell, I'm more convinced now that Benoit isn't walking out with the World Title and that he won't win it in Edmonton either (probably get a Montreal like screw job in Edmonton). I think Eddie might keep his title just because he's proving (if everything pans out) that he is a draw and hence, Vince won't risk losing that potential. Benoit isn't an assured chance, so I doubt they will.
Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted March 10, 2004 This is on the WrestleMania site, don't know if it's been posted yet: WWE Films Presents... The Mania of WrestleMania airs on UPN on March 12 at 8/7 CT. This special is a documentary shot at last year's WrestleMania and features a unique peek at the stories behind the scenes. Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 This is all amusing, but I really don't want to see the company go under because of politics. I do. I am SICK of hearing about all the SHIT that WWE has allowed to go on, and this company deserves to go down and go down BIG-TIME because of it. -Patrick

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 so if all the stories are true...whats the current count on superstars on their way out? Triple H Rock Foley (if he's done at this point) Brock Lesnar Goldberg Possibly Flair (depending on his health). A possible total of six wrestlers leaving after Mania. chaosrage 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 So that leaves us with 2, possibly 3 guys that can be taken seriously as a main eventers on RAW. And 3 on SD if you count Show. But Angle could be on the way out too.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 And I call Bullshit I smell a major work. If it is a work, then as all the wrestling sites said, the roster would totally either be lying their asses off or have no clue. If the roster has no clue and all this animosity between Lesnar and the business is a lie a lot of people aren't going to be happy and you might end up with five or six people like Lesnar instead of just Lesnar. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 So that leaves us with 2, possibly 3 guys that can be taken seriously as a main eventers on RAW. And 3 on SD if you count Show. But Angle could be on the way out too. Angle could be out or down the card. So that makes a total of 7 guys possibly leaving. Yah, the outlook doesn't look good on the main eventer front. Is there anyone in either roster that could step up right now to be a main eventer, not realistically. Which makes it even worse if you think about it.
