Giuseppe Zangara Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 TV on the Radio's new one, Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes has been getting plenty of play. For an individual song, I've been obsessing over Wire's "41 Degrees North 93 Degrees West" for awhile. That chorus is pure pop heaven.
snuffbox Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 You, sir, are on drugs. Tonight's The Night is obviously Neil Young's best work ever. That was definitly a great album AND song. The passion and emotional intensity gives me chills every time...'Bruce Berry was a workin man, he used to drive that econoline van'...Neil took yet another heroin death of a close friend and made something beautifully tragic art out of it.
The Metal Maniac Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 I've been listening to Ten Masked Men's cover of "Blue" way too much recently. Does that count?
Nevermortal Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Another band I've grown to like is the Alkaline Trio. Really good punk rock. Weren't you pimping AFI for the longest while? ....your point being? AFI is tremendous, your opinion of them doesn't matter to me.
Red Baron Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Elvenking... They are simply one of my favourite bands ever. And Iced Earth's Glorious Burden. Owens is truly amazing
