Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Comedy Central 10:30 Dave hosts "Who Knows Black People" and an installment of "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong;" musical guest Erykah Badu.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I'm not getting a good vibe from this episode, so hopefully it proves me wrong.
WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I'm not feeling the keeping it real segment. However, as I think about it, I really dug the world series of dice bit from last week. I'd probably put it in top five favorites.
Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted March 11, 2004 that was lame
WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Yeah, wasn't feeling it tonight. Just seemed kind of off. The I know Black People bit was a decent idea, but it was too long and couldn't carry the show.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted March 11, 2004 I liked the Keeping it Real bit, at least a few of the one-liners. The game show segment fell kinda flat, but had a couple laughs in it.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Missed it. (Has Dish) It would be the night where Erykah Badu perfomed.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 The I know Black People bit was a decent idea, but it was too long and couldn't carry the show. It really lagged in the second half. Brilliant idea, though.
WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 My favorite parts of the I Know Black People was the old white college professor and the writer singing the Good Times theme song. There were like three Good Times questions. That cracked me up more than anything. If I heard the ad right at the end of the show they're going to have a mini-marathon this coming Saturday night of the first eight shows of this season. I also don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I picked up the first season DVD from Wal-Mart for under twenty bucks. It was a great buy.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Ehhh...not half as good as last week. Needed more Ashy Larry

All the Wal-Marts by me don't have it because it's "Unrated".

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 12, 2004 Chappelle must do a parody of those awful "A friend would tell a friend they have a problem" anti-drug commercials. Those damn things are so annoying and prime for a parody... :commercial goes as normal and car pulls over: :Dave gets serious and uses dramatic voice: "We need to talk" "Look man you my nigga...but seriously you gotta stop being greedy with my fucking weed...pass pass give, bitch"

Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 Charlie Murphy: "Hey man, you got the time?" Lil John: "WHAT?!" Charlie: "You know what time it is?" Lil John: "WHAT?!" Charlie: "You know what time it is?" Lil John: "YEEEEAH!" Charlie: "...tell me then." Lil John: "OKAAAYYYY!" Charlie: "well?" Lil John: "WHAT?!" Charlie: "Nigga what the fuck's your problem!" Lil John: "WHAT?!" Then Charlie Murphy does the same front judo kick he used on Rick James. Those would just write themselves.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 14, 2004 I decided to watch the "Chappelle's Show" marathon thing on comedy central, and this is pretty damn funny.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 14, 2004 Probably, but the people I heard supporting it were by and large the same people who thought Three's Company was fresh and hilarious for it's entire run, so I'm sure you can sympathize. And just as a note, when I first started watching Three's Company in re-runs, the first four episodes I saw followed that god damn "whacky misunderstanding" formula, and has caused me to hate it ever since.
