Guest glennsoe Report post Posted March 11, 2004 I know Sting is "up there" in regards to his health, but i'd mark out like a school girl in Japan if he'd join the wwe and move to Smackdown as the #1 face !! There was talk last year before mania that Sting would fight HHH, but nothing came about it My question is simply; Would he make an impact in the wwe or would he be just "another DDP/Steiner" ?? Could it be ruined anymore than what WCW did to him towards the end with the whole "ITS SHOWTIME FOLKS" routine? From what I've heard, he's fully retiring soon anyways, so to sign a deal with the WWE so close to the end of his career would be useless. There's a 99% chance that he wouldn't be as good as you'd think anyways. Be it the writers and/or Vince ruining his character or not getting over well with the WWE fans.
