Is STING "Nwa Tna bound" ??

Recommended Posts

Guest glennsoe

I know Sting is "up there" in regards to his health, but i'd mark out like a school girl in Japan if he'd join the wwe and move to Smackdown as the #1 face !!

There was talk last year before mania that Sting would fight HHH, but nothing came about it

My question is simply; Would he make an impact in the wwe or would he be just "another DDP/Steiner" ?? I've seen the Stinger in tna last year, and he looked good !!

So i just throw his name in the hat and see what you guys think of the idea

Sting is one of my all-time favorites and I haven't seen him since 98 or so, so I'd be all for it if they brought him in.

I think he'd fit in on Raw a little better than he would on Smackdown though.

Sting wouldn't be stupid enough to join WWE to let Vince ruin his gimmick.

Could it be ruined anymore than what WCW did to him towards the end with the whole "ITS SHOWTIME FOLKS" routine?

The only problem is that Smackdown needs a heel and Sting really cant be a heel I dont think. I still wouldn't mind him coming back though.

As far as I'm concerned ,Sting hasn't been any good in a decade. So I could give a damn about seeing him in the WWE. If anything ,it would annoy me.

The general public might enjoy it till he actually has to wrestle. Then the indifference would kick in.

I'm with Suplex. Does the average non-WCW-watching WWE fan know or care who Sting is?

Besides that, it's just another old guy at the top of the card who won't work house shows (or very little) while making big bucks.

True dat.

Let's see other former WCW champions and how they have fared in the "WWE"

Flair - HHH's personal Stuart Smalley

DDP - Undertaker's girlfriend

Steiner - asked to debate a war

Goldberg - blonde wig placed on head within 2 weeks of entering company

Yeah baby! Sign Sting up so he can become Sting from the Police!

His catchphrase can be "Don't stand so close to me, pal!"

UGH.

No, no, no.

Sting should stay away from the WWE. He is old and the last thing the WWE needs is another washed up old guy.

I agree with a lot of people here in sayin Sting shouldn't sign a WWE contract. From what I've heard, he's fully retiring soon anyways, so to sign a deal with the WWE so close to the end of his career would be useless. There's a 99% chance that he wouldn't be as good as you'd think anyways. Be it the writers and/or Vince ruining his character or not getting over well with the WWE fans. Remember, Sting has NEVER been in the WWE before. How many people of his stature say that? I hope it stays that way.

I believe Sting still has one appearance to make in TNA before he can even consider signing with the WWE.
