Scroby 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Ok we all know Goldberg is gone and we all know about the strong ass rumors about Brock taking off. So I sorta just thought of something, whouldn't it really be fucked up if Goldberg or Brock showed up at NWA TNA this Weds? Espically on Brock's part. It'd be a shocker but still I think really screwed up if Brock did it. I'd find it funny if Goldberg did it.
Guest Fook Report post Posted March 13, 2004 TNA could never afford Goldberg.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 TNA could never afford Goldberg. Brock doesn't want to wrestle...and even if he did...he's still under WWE contract. Also...TNA could never afford Brock.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 No chance in hell of either happening.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 There was the report months ago that New Japan would enter into a deal with TNA, even providing financial assitance, if they could secure One of the following three people to a contract: Goldberg, Brock or Angle. The purpose was for TNA to be able to secure them bookings in New Japan. Brock and Angle were always impossible due to their long contracts. Even if TNA became profitable and competitive...there was still no way. On the other hand, depending on what kind of plan New Japan had in the form of money and talent supplied to TNA...pursuing Goldberg might not be the worst idea ever...but it would be close. snuffbox 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 This Wed on TNA- Jeff Jarrett v Goldberg! Brock Lesnar v Kevin Nash! Bret Hart v Hulk Hogan! The Ultimate Warrior v Randy Savage! Jimmy Hoffa v Elvis Presley!
Scroby 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Is the contract with Brock and the WWE still valid even after he leaves? If its not valid anymore, Brock could very well show up on NWA in the future. His main problem was that the road was so harsh. With NWA it wouldn't be that bad at all. So thats why it makes me wonder.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Well, Choke One (or whoever) was right. We finally got the dumb "TNA fanboy" thread.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Even if Brock wanted to wrestle...he wouldn't go to TNA. He'd wait for Vince to give him less dates.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 This is fucking stupid...why would anyone even consider this to be a possibility??
Scroby 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Alright, it was just a thought that popped into my mind. I'm not a fanboy of TNA or whatever, come on you guys know me better than that, well I think. Don't hate on Scroby, be gentle (lol).
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2004 Even if Brock wanted to wrestle...he wouldn't go to TNA. He'd wait for Vince to give him less dates. Even if Brock *did* want to work TNA, I'm sure Vince would prohibit him from doing so as a condition of releasing him from his contract.
Cran Da Maniac 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2004 Hell people, he put Chris Kanyon and Mike Sanders under 90 days no compete clauses, and they had no contract with the WWE. You really think he's going to give up Brock or Goldberg that easily?
