Big Show wasn't 2003 MVP; Taker did better that year, Angle did, Benoit did, Lesnar did and Eddie did. He did carry that match vs. Cena though; not exactly a good thing, though.

Big Show was champ for 5 months barely making any sort of title defense at a ppv or on smackdown. Cena deserved it because he wrestles more than the big show

Show only had ONE good match and it wasn't really a TBS match...I'm talking bout the Vengence Three Way Match...

 

I might say the NWO with Undertauro match was **3/4. That's the only other good match he had...

 

The Lesnar matches weren't bad though...** at Rumble and the Judgement Day match was **1/2.

 

***+ Taker Matches?

 

The Angle Match on Smackdown (I want to say it was 4th of July edition but not sure) hit ****1/4. The Cena Match, bad booking aside hit ***1/2 and I'm willing to say his match with Lesnar at No Mercy just barely cracked ***.

 

TBS was the Promotional Machine MVP though, without question.

I was glad Big Show lost. He had the title since October and didn't even defend the damn thing on TV until like what last month? I just hope he does get pushed. I definitely want to see Guerrero / Show main event JD. I'm absolutely serious.

He's always been the WWE's BEST promotional venue because not only does his SIZE sell but his personality and Charisma along with his comedic timing is impeccable while Triple H, WWE's spokesperson goes out and says "It's not like it's Heroin" regarding Steriods or The Rock whom COMPLETELY neglects the company three days before the show on the tonight show to promote his likely 2ND bomb movie.

I enjoyed the Sep 4th one from SD last year much better even with Brock's interference at the end.

I haven't had a problem with Big Show since the Brock Lesner feud basically exceeded every expectation I had for it. He's been such a more effective monster heel the last year and basically since moving away from RAW, its been amazing. Plus I don't see how people can blame the guy for being a bad US Champion since its not his fault that WWE didn't book him to defend the thing.

Angle and Undertaker had huge breaks in the year, Benoit and Eddie had long periods where they were doing nothing productive (Thanks to the company). Lesnar had that ridiculously long and unbearable period with Angle that just sucked monkey dick.

People like him because he goes out there and _tries_, he gives an effort, and while he isn't all that good, I and many others respect him because he is trying to put on a good show, and yeah, once in a while he has a fun match.
