With that thinking, Jericho should have never been the champ and Edge will never be either.

Mmm hmm.

*Doesn't refute point*

Jericho has all the tools to be a champ except Moveset.  Edge is too lanky; he needs to roid up hard.  Christian has both problems.

Hunter isnt much of a moveset freak...

now were other champs - Austin, Hogan, Luger, Yoko etc...

Jericho's moveset is comparable to, say, a Ric Flair

I was unaware Luger held the WWF Title....unless you meant any title in general. :D

...indeed, thats what i meant... ;)

No, but the Pedigree is worlds better than anything either man has.

Luger? Yoko had size which gave his moves credibility, Austin and Hogan's finishers are classics; the lionsault??

Yeah, and people have complained about Flairs moveset for years. Of course Flair = 80's and standards were different then.

Your logic makes my head hurt.

It's not my logic, it's WWE logic.......personally the only guys I want to see in the Main Event are: Benoit, Guerrero, Show, Edge, Angle, and HBK even though he does the same schtick.

Are we completely forgetting about Haas here? Are we trying to Make him the Jannetty here? Because now you've cursed Benjamin...Haas like the rest of the "other guy" in famous tag teams will be the future star or one with a job (Shawn, Matt, Edge)...I'm still reserving time to see if X can springboard to the top level with his brother, if so...that would be the FIRST legit tag team to split and each member reach equal high status...Hopefully, Haas and Benjamin follow suit.

Nobody's trying to make Haas as the next Jannetty. He has a lot of talent himself and a nice submission maneuver.

However, he needs to find something to top Shelton calling Bradshaw a sheepfucker ("I can make love and knit a sweater at the same time" = classic), and that's going to be difficult. Maybe go after Gunn, he's an easy target.

Hey, you never know.

I could understand Xtian for him but not X.....it doesn't make sense.

On Jericho's finisher woes: I have it! He'll use a Lionsault Legdrop!

Looks like some good wrestling even if not long matches.

Eddie/Rey should be great, but I'll go out on a limb and predict the quality will be "not at good as that Havoc match."

By this logic, and masked jobber named "Mr. X" that means they are really Jesus Christ.

pretty retarded posting there.

Because I proved you wrong? Calling Christ "X" opens up MANY loopholes in wrestling, and I proved it. Now you're gonna throw 3rd grade insults at me?

First: Have you seen THAT Havoc match?

Second......that limb comment is like saying that Hogan vs Warrior II would be as good as the first one. Never gonna happen.

What was so great about Mysterio/Guerrero from HHAvoc 97? I thought it was pretty good, but I won't say it was ***** classic MOTY.

- Paul London & Billy Kidman defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri & Akio when London scored the pin with a 450 splash.

- Chuck Palumbo of the FBI defeated Hardcore Holly.

- WWE Cruiserweight champion Chavo Guerrero Jr. defeated Ultimo Dragon.

Wow, a great Velocity show overall. I'm definitely not missing out.

Cena tells the crowd that he is from Boston

I hate it when WWE keeps changing where wrestlers are from. PICK A FUCKING CITY AND STICK WITH IT!

Paul Heyman comes out and announces that Brock Lesnar has left the WWE, blaming it on the Smackdown roster abandoning him last week when Steve Austin showed up in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Very clever. Kudos, WWE creative.

-Backstage, The APA challenge Paul Heyman to fire them. Heyman says that he never claimed he would fire the APA, he would fire Farooq. They start to argue and Heyman tells Bradshaw that he has a successful book and appears on talk shows about giving financial advice and doesn't need to keep carrying Farooq. Farooq walks out while Bradshaw stands there. Farooq questions him, then walks off, leaving Bradshaw alone.

Farooq to become a road agent again. :P

-WWE champion Eddie Guerrero defeated Rey Mysterio in what was said to have been a really great match.

Ooh, can't miss. Haas / Benjamin will be interesting to see also.

-The Undertaker's gong was heard and he came to the ring with Paul Bearer. Rey and Guerrero shove Heyman into UT, who grabs him and tombstones him to end the show.

Ooh, can't miss also.

What was the point of the Holly push anyway? They did all that only to have him back on Velocity to Palumbo. Sad. Hopefully soon, Funaki will have enough tenure to get a token big push.

Especially considering they made A-TRAIN of all people job to him last week.

New Benjamite!!!

Oh, wait... gotta contribute.

Hell, I ALWAYS loved watching Rey and Eddie go at it in WCW. Here's hoping this one is good to watch too.

I think this go at Rey vs Eddie will just be a forgettable ***1/4 match.
