Kizzo 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 I'm not sure if they are in the draft or not...but if they are I could see this combo.... RAW TEAM I think a JR/TAZZ duo would be good, and plus its different....maybe they could be the next Monsoon/Heenan team....or they could add the Coach in the mix.. SMACKDOWN TEAM For this show a Cole/Lawler team, with maybe Coach in the mix would be good...if Coach didn't join TAZZ and JR So basically its JR/TAZZ for RAW...and Michael Cole and Lawler with Coach maybe for Smackdown... Tawren 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Cole/Tazz are so good together that I would keep them as a unit.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 JR / Tazz work very good together.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 I don't think they should change it. Tazz/Lawler would bomb, as would Lawler/Cole. Tazz and Cole work well together, and JR can carry Lawler.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Oh dear god, please no Lawler/Cole. I'd kick the TV screen in after about half an hour of their tripe.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 21, 2004 I'd like a change. It'd be interesting. It should work out - if not, the creative geniuses could whip something up.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Oh dear god, please no Lawler/Cole. I'd kick the TV screen in after about half an hour of their tripe. Cole really has improved A LOT. Heck, I wouldn't mind Josh Matthews replacing friggin' Lawler or JR at this point. -=Mike
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Besides, if the women don't switch places, wouldn't Lawler BELONG on SD far more than on RAW? -=Mike
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 JR and Tazz have worked pretty well the few times they've been together so maybe they could be a good team, but that would leave Cole/Lawler on the other show. I don't overly mind Cole, but that's not a commentary team i want to be hearing anytime soon.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 RAW: Tazz and Josh Mathews Smackdown: Tazz and Cole* Heat: Tazz and Josh Mathews Velocity: Tazz and Josh Mathews *only for variety purposes.

Kizzo 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 How about this... RAW: JR....TAZZ...Theodore Long or RAW: JR...and...Theodore Long Can you imagine that duo on RAW... And for Smackdown we will have Cole and Al Snow
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 RAW: JR and Tazz Smackdown: Michael Cole and Al Snow Heat: Tazz and Josh Velocity: Cole and Theodore Long Of course, that'll never happen, but if it did it would rule.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 21, 2004 So Cole's on two shows now? Well, if it'll improve him.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Ok, Cole can be on Heat And no heel Tazz. Well, unless you count Tazz raggin on Josh Mathews heel Tazz... which it really isn't.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Sadly, he has the deadly cracker voice that holds him back. He can't emote very well; I don't get the sense of excitement or drama from when he speaks. He is good with the history and technical sides of it (Josh is a smark, no doubt, he showed that on Tough Enough when he complained about the other contestants knowledge of wrestling), but he couldn't tell a story to save his life. If Cole was with Lawler, I'm afraid the stupidity would be off the charts. I don't think I can stand comments like "Oh, she's a screamer." and "You know, those ropes aren't elastic bands" 50 times in one night. Although JR/Lawler is bad enough... The hell with it, replace Lawler with Heyman. Problem solved.

The Big Show with the damn chair cost Eddie Guerrero the match! Damn it! Everyone knows Tazz carries him on the SD broadcasting team.
Guest JMA Report post Posted March 21, 2004 The only problem I have with Cole is his constant overuse of the phrase, "What the hell!?" Though this isn't a major complaint. Lawler isn't going anyone because he has seniority and creative thinks the fans love him. To be fair, they DID love him during the "Attitude" era. But that's long gone. When he left in 2001 I missed him being on PBP with J.R., but when he returned after Heyman filled in for 8 months, I realized how below average he was. Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 21, 2004 It's just great to hear the Raw guys calling the SmackDown! action and vice versa. However, you need one ex-wrestler on either team, so I'd be inclined to go Ross/Tazz and Lawler/Cole, one reason being so that the two ex-wrestlers can't spend a weekly 1 1/2-2 hours making idiots of themselves. Or this familiar line:"That Hell in a Cell is dangerous! You could get a finger caught in there!" I think that's what Cole said once.
Kizzo 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 I did like the combo of JR/Heyman in 2001 for 8 months...and they did a great job calling Wrestlemania X-7..... The show is only as good as the people calling the matches...and at X-7 they did a wonderful job....especially the Street Fight with Shane/Mr. McMahon... The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Leave Cole and Tazz on SmackDown. Completely revamp the Raw team. Take Ross out and put in that new guy, Todd or Brad whatever his name. As for Lawler, I don't care which former wrestler they put in. Maybe Chris Nowinski, if he's done? Perhaps Regal, Coach, Snow, I don't know. Just end Ross and his love for hoss sauce.
