Voting begins as of Thursday, March 25th, 2004 and ends on Wednesday, March 31st, 2004 (at 5pm MST, 8pm EST). Winners will advance to the next round of only 64. All matches were made via random pulling out of a hat. This post is tediously long just to show match ups, I know. Edit: To those wondering just how the hell, Celes vs. Alucard happened in the first round, it's just the way they came out of the hat. I was quite shocked too. Same thing with the many Final Fantasy vs. Final Fantasy. That was not planned. A lot of first round match ups made me wince in how good they were. Oh well, made for some good voting. However, now that the first round is completed, I will explain the tiebreak for every subsequent round. Should a tie ever occur, the total votes for and against from the previous round will be used to caculate the winner. Meaning vote differential will determine winners in cases of ties. Now then onto the winners. Please note that I will be placing them in order of who got what vote, NOT the actual brackets.
