Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2004 Now you may want to know WHY it is called RPG Baddies Nominations, and not, RPG Villians Nominations. Because Baddies also include those who were enemies. Regardless if they join up with you in a couple hours of game play or were a Hero then turned Baddie (Delita of FFT or Jowy of Suikoden 2 anyone?) or just switched sides constantly (Kain of FF4 is probably the best of that). If they are Baddies, they qualify for this Tourney. Now then, since I didn't do as great of job with the Heroes as I probably should've, I'm letting YOU, the TSM Gamers, decide who from the RPGs Baddies, you think deserves to be here. 128 Baddies must be Chosen. You have the power to decide who is in this tourney. ...ok, it is simply because I can't think of more than 32 Baddies off the top of my head, and will probably miss some of the more "Cultish" Baddies (I missed Ashley of Vagrant Story, so I probably would've missed Sydney). Note: I accept all forms of Baddies, but they must have important significance to the RPG. Hence, you can't just toss out say a Cockatrice from any old game. It must be a boss/NPC or a very well established symbol of Baddiness. The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2004 I'll throw in a courtesy vote for Molbol (Final Fantasy series) and Behemoth (Final Fantasy series), since Square thought enough of them to include them in Final Fantasy Tactics. Also, though we're treading into dangerous ground by including Diablo 2 (there's a litany of Baldur's Gate baddies that are worthy of a nomination and I don't even want to fire up the System Shock/Deus Ex = RPG argument), I'm going to throw down a vote for the pygmy-esque Flayers (Diablo 2), just for being one of the single most annoying group of enemies I've ever seen in a video game.
