Guest glennsoe Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 The WWE has pulled Trish Stratus's new shirt due to complaints. PWTorch.com reader Nick Lewis of Peoria, Ill. writes: It says "blow me." WWE Shopzone U.S. has pulled the image from the site, but you can find an image here at the EuroWWE Shopzone - Where's the problem ??
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Maybe if I saw it, I could answer your question.
AndrewTS Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 It was the (front) "BLOW ME..." (back) "Into the Stratusphere" (back) shirt. The dumb sexual innuendo was a bit too blatant I suppose, that's all.
Slayer Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 It was the (front) "BLOW ME..." (back) "Into the Stratusphere" (back) shirt. The dumb sexual innuendo was a bit too blatant I suppose, that's all. Wasn't there a thread about then to-be-released shirt a couple months ago? (too lazy to hunt it down)
AndrewTS Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 "suck it" got by. It said "s*ck it" actually. Like Fock Fear. Wasn't there a thread about then to-be-released shirt a couple months ago? Yes. It probably isn't archived, though.
Nighthawk Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Damn, I wanted on of those too. If you've ever seen me comment on my taste in wrestling shirts, you'll know it's right up my alley.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 You can watch insinuated necrophilia unfold on screen, but forget an insinuated sexual t-shirt being worn. There are many variables, but I find it to be a fair comparison. One got warning, the other isn't as bad. It evens out. And if you don't like the shirt, don't buy it.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 This is only moderatly related to the issue at hand, but it seems that ShopZone has been a lot better recently: They have cool Eddie, Benoit, Cena, UT, and HHH shirts right now. Impressive.
LucharesuFan619 Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Fuck the stratusphere. I wanna blow Trish, period.
Tawren Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Fuck the stratusphere. I wanna blow Trish, period. I'd hope Trish wouldn't have something for you to blow.
Boner Kawanger Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Fuck the stratusphere. I wanna blow Trish, period. I'd hope Trish wouldn't have something for you to blow. Hehe...reminds me of a story. I have some stupid friends, and we're all constantly just pissing each other off. Of course, the porking of relatives comes into play, and since I'm an only child, I can stay clear of the "Sister Defense", but Will and Wilson couldn't. Now, Will is just stupid, but in a lovable way. Just observe" Wilson: Man, your sister is hot. I want to have sex with her. Will: Your sister is so hot, I would suck her dick if she had one. Everyone:...What? Will: I'm so drunk. Now, to remain on topic...I'm sorry about your shirt, Trish.
Mole Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 "suck it" got by. It said "s*ck it" actually. Like Fock Fear. Yeah, but "You Suck" got by.
CanadianChick Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Eh, who cares? It wouldn't have sold too well anyways since she just turned heel.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Eh, who cares? It wouldn't have sold too well anyways since she just turned heel. And the people who the heel turn didn't bother know how much she sucks in the ring anyway.
Boner Kawanger Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 "suck it" got by. It said "s*ck it" actually. Like Fock Fear. Yeah, but "You Suck" got by. Yes, but, my lord...are you serious? Its two different incantations of the word and...well. You have a point, but you tried too hard, I guess. "Suck it" means, quite clearly, "Hey, you. Suck on my penis because I'm better than you!". "You suck" could mean "You suck on penises!", but it can also mean "You are bad at things!".
1234-5678 Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 I would've bought it and wore a flannel over it so no one could see the lame back of it.
Nighthawk Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 I would've bought it and wore a flannel over it so no one could see the lame back of it. Why do that when you could have just bought a shirt that said "Blow me"? They do make them, you know.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 I wasn't aware that people still wore flannels.
AndrewTS Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 I wasn't aware that people still wore flannels. Foley, old people, and techers wear flannel. EDIT: I guess rednecks as well, but around here, everyone's a redneck and not all of them wear flannel, so *shrug*.
Lil' Bitch Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 WWE was asking for complaints to come in the first place by making the shirt. Amazing.
AndrewTS Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Christian will probably be wearing one on Raw next week. Trish: *walks up to Christian, sees the front* Okay! *drags him into a closet*
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 they should have made the O a pair of lips ... eh..that probably woulddn't have been a good idea either..

Allow me to go update my wardrobe.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Bogans wear flannel. Oh, how I hate them...

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Judging by the main photo, it doesn't look like a shirt that a female would wear, but if a guy were to wear it, he would seem gay.
Jericholic82 Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Hey they have had this shirt in RAW?SD mag ads for like 2 months. In fact it's in the current (April ) Issue of Raw mag that just came out this week. anyways, it is pretty lame.
Jobber of the Week Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 If this shirt seems familiar to you, you might remember it from about six months ago. WWE.com ran a poll asking visitors which shirt they liked more. The choices were this shirt or an identical twin that said "I'VE BEEN BLOWN" on the front. The other time WWE asked the internet for marketing advice was the infamous HLA shirts.
