Dark Matches: Carly Colon d. Paul London - fairly boring Orlando Jordan d. jobber - extremely boring Velocity: Mark Jindrak d. Shannon Moore - boring Billy Gunn d. Danny Basham - pretty bad Rico d. Jamie Noble - decent, probably match of the night Smackdown: Angle comes out and announces the America's Cup or something along those lines. The qualifiers are tonight. Big Show d. Rikishi - standard match for them Bradshaw yells at his limo driver. Bradshaw's limo is also sporting bull horns. RVD vs. Charlie Haas - Double Countout Angle comes out and says he wants a winner and decides Haas was ahead on points so he gives the win to Haas. Really stupid. Mysterio and Spike d. Chavo Sr. and Chavo - watchable but too short. Bradshaw comes out and beatsdown Mysterio and Spike and then leaves. Ok. Booker T does his usual stuff about Smackdown being minor league. Booker T d. Hardcore Holly - wow did this match ever suck. It went on for what felt like an hour and the damn match would just not end until Booker won it with your standard roll up with a handful of tights. Dudleys d. Akio/Sakoda - man the Dudleys just do their standard spots for matches these days. Hardcore Holly comes back out. Lord help me. He wants another match with Booker T. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Booker comes back out and quickly pins Holly with the EXACT SAME FUCKING FINISH. Eddie shows up. Yeah nice to know you get to the building at the very end of the show. Dupree comes out for the Cena match. Cena made pretty short work of Nunzio and Stramboli in a handicap match. So we get 20 minutes of Hardcore Fucking Holly but maybe 5 of Cena. Fifi also seemed to be scared shitless for her time out there. Eddie and Angle yak. At this point I had basically had enough and decided to beat traffic so whatever happened after this I missed. I'm not sure. The positioning in the ring was all wrong for that. I thought maybe they wanted to shoot Holly chasing Booker to the back but they never showed a backstage brawl or anything. Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted March 31, 2004 From GameFAQs: Dark Matches no name dude defeated paul london orlando jordan defeated no name dude Velocity Mark Jindrak defeated shannon moore Billy gunn defeated one of the bashams doug and danny switched a lot but all failed in the end they switched so much i forgot who actually was supposed to be fighting gunn rico w/ jackie defeated jamie noble (entertaining match on rico's part) Smackdown Kurt Angle opened the show by saying he was looking for someone that showed respect or was a role model or something to that affect he showed off a trophy and introduced the first annual kurt angle all american award tourny and the winner would get the trophy and a title shot against eddie guerrero Big show defeated rikishi to enter the all american award thing Rey Mysterio and Spike Dudley defeated Chavo Jr and Chavo Sr after the match bradshaw came out and clotheslined spike and powerbombed rey Charlie Haas and Rob Van Dam fought to a double count out but kurt said since this was an all american award match thing and neither won the match, he made up some points thing and declared haas the winner Booker T defeated Hardcore Holly to advance in the tourny (the ending was messed up and they redid it later in the show) Dudleys defeated Akio and Sakoda John cena came out showing off some ohio state buckeyes gear cena defeated nunzio and johnny stamboli in a handicapped match to advance in the tourny thing renee dupree was sitting ringside with fifi, cole and tazz kurt came down and said big show, charlie haas, booker t, john cena were all finalists in the all american award tourny he then called eddie out to introduce him to someone special eddie came out sporting the lowrider kurt then called bradshaw out and named him the 5th and final member in the all american thing (he also said the winner will be determined in a wwe.com poll that will last til next monday) bradshaw came out in a limo that parked behind eddies car bradshaw rambled on about being as american as america gets eddie ran down to bradshaws limo, reached inside and stole bradshaws hat bradshaw cried about his hat and told eddie to give it back eddie took it around the front row of the arena and everyone poured drinks and popcorn in it eddie told bradshaw if he wanted the hat to come and get it but he never left the limo eddie left after celebrating and stomping on the hat and then throwing it into the crowd bradshaw came down and told whoever had his hat to give it back then he decided to call "the little mexican pest back out" GONG GONG taker came out after bradshaw tried to reason with him for about 2 or 3 minutes they began to brawl taker chokeslammed and the tombstoned bradshaw and all was over That should let you know what you missed. Bradshaw's taking a page out of Hardcore Holly's book... going out and beating up more talented wrestlers without actually wrestling. Listen, Bradshaw's big push will not work UNLESS HE IMPROVES IN THE RING! If he doesn't improve it's gonna be Steiner all over again, with months of buildup for one horrific match. Way to put over the new talent. On a roster begging for credible tag teams why are the uber stale Dudleys mowing through everybody? To be an equal opportunity hater, Booker T hasn't shown a lot of great in-ring work, either. Dupree needs to win the America Cup, and credibly. Not with the "Cena gets screwed" shit. Edit: So Dupree's not even in the match? A poll? I wonder if it'll be like that "Sting-goldberg" fiasco back in 2000? Eddie takes Bradshaw's hat? What is this, Kindergarden? And Taker returns!
