We saw many interesting matchups, a lot of Final Fantasy Characters get smashed out of the tourney, the greatest comeback victory of the first round (Fei Fong Wong down 6-0 on votes to win 9-6), also the hardest fought battle (Chaz downed Ryudo), and 4 squash matches. But now we move onto bigger and more interesting matchups as we continue our way to the True Hero~!!! Hell, technically, if I had made this open, I could've pulled a really nasty one and plugged Golbez, Delita, that annoying bastard in FFT that you kill to end Chapter 1, and a couple more I can probably think of (later on today) in the Hero Tourney and Baddie Tourney. As you might remember, Baddies include both goodies gone bad or baddies turned goodie. Same applies in reverse if I think about it. Next year, I make stricter rules and shit.

Sure, he was a Hero. Sure, he overcame huge odds. It's just, I actually enjoyed Zidane as he was quite plucky. Whilst, Vivi came off as AI and going through the whole "what do I do with my life". And since that's pretty much like everyone else, except only with the added spice of "I'm not really alive, but what really determines that". And I'm sorry, it has been done. Yes, he was the best at it. But is that justification to beat Zidane? Shit, technically, Zidane was in the same position when you find out about it. Although, I wanna know how the hell Selan and Maxim, Stahn Aileron and also Kite managed to survive the first round. I didn't know Selan, Maxim, Stahn, or Kite had that good of a fanbase. As long as anyone but fucking Cloud wins, I'll be happy. Truth be told, I think I only know like six of the damn people that are left. Cloud's only going as far as we can take him to weed out the crap. Seriously, I doubt he'll win it. He was a pretty good Hero, but he isn't best.

Unless you want all your characters to reach level 99 in a pathetic 2-month struggle to be completely invincible to take all the fun out of the game and have the 5-second appeal of feeling god-like that a Gameshark could offer you anyway... then it has a point!

I'm going to be torn on a lot of choices. This second round made me have to choose between favorites. Then it had me choose between some characters I hated, but that's how it goes. It's just, I actually enjoyed Zidane as he was quite plucky. So was Rocky the Flying Squirrel. Whilst, Vivi came off as AI and going through the whole "what do I do with my life". Pffft--A.I. was so freakin' shameful I don't get the comparison.
