Mendoza put on the DL Today with shoulder tendanitis which explains why he didn't pitch last night and save some of our short relievers. The Yankees are without John Lieber and getting crushed by Tampa Bay and Chicago. They have no excuse Also Bernie Williams dancing about in CF as he couldn't find the baseball is hilarious. Oddly enough the Jays season thus far has gone exactly like my season with them in MVP 2004. If the trend holds, it means the Jays will win a further 19 in a row. No way should they be getting crushed or barely winning games. Although in all fairness, they're in the spot they're in today because of poor pitching and defense. I live in Wisconsin but it's still "greater Chicago area" so I guess that means they have to black it out.
