Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I thought of this then. If you were talking to someone that had never done it, how would you describe the feeling when taking a drag of a cigarette?

Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Tell them its like sucking a cock only instead of cum, your reward is burnt tobacco. If that doesn't make them understand, they are just not very bright.

kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Oh, telling someone what a smoke tastes like. And I guess in Ripper's world a "money shot" would be somone knocking the ash off their cancer stick onto a person's face...
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Oh, telling someone what a smoke tastes like. And I guess in Ripper's world a "money shot" would be somone knocking the ash off their cancer stick onto a person's face... Yeah, probably. Not, not exactly the taste, although that's also a hard one - but the feeling when having the actual drag. You can explain "like sucking back smoke", but it's different. The word "high" (excuse the pun) could also come into play.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Just light a leaf on fire and tell them to huff it, while explaining that it simply has a different flavour.

The word "high" (excuse the pun) could also come into play. The only time I ever smoked tobacco was this pack of "baby" Swisher Sweets, and even then I didn't inhale. For about six months back in the day I would be driving home from a full day of school and work, and just puffing on one Swisher on the way home kept me up... Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Cigarettes and tobacco are for fags. You mean cigarettes ARE fags. Its a British thing.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Cigarettes are known as "fags" in Australia too. Also: Cancer sticks, durreys, smokes (of course), amongst other slang.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 So in Aussie you can take a drag from a fag then...
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I'd compare it to eating something that looks disgusting, but you've grown a taste for. I dunno. Smoking in and of itself is something entirely different than anything you could think of. Aside from the health detractions, it's an amazing feeling when you get that "dizzy" sensation after smoking a BUTT.

Aside from the health detractions, it's an amazing feeling when you get that "dizzy" sensation after smoking a BUTT. Well, I don't get that dizzy sensation anymore... so if you want a sensation that fucks with your senses, you turn to weed. Corey, at first, I thought that you were going to say "it's an amazing feeling when you have that cigarette after not having one for hours", or something like that - which I would also agree with. Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I would describe smoking as a moment of clarity, or perhaps a subliminal high. I've just had some dental work done, so I can't smoke for a week. When I first light up after that time, it will be better than almost any other drug I could do.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 8, 2004 How does the dental work really affect your smoking? And damn, if I were you, I'd take that week's opportunity to quit.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I don't know, they just said don't. I don't want to quit, I like it. I'm not one of those who smokes and apologizes for it. I think it's good, and more people should start. I don't know anyway man, I don't feel addicted like the way people talk about it. When I've been locked up, I didn't smoke for a couple months at a time, or when I visit my father I won't smoke. Sometimes I'll think a cigarette would be nice, but it doesn't feel like a craving. It really doesn't seem to bother me.

But I do enjoy it, and feel the same way as you for the most part - definitely the most part.
Guest Bottled Black Report post Posted April 9, 2004 How does the dental work really affect your smoking? And damn, if I were you, I'd take that week's opportunity to quit. I recently had a wisdom tooth pulled and they told me not to smoke for 2 days because I could get some type of infection. I'm guessing thats why they said no smoking for a week. justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 I dunno bout everyone else, but to me, you sound like a FUCKWAD. Because he enjoys smoking? Here's an acedote for you: a man is sitting outside of a restaraunt, having a cigarette. A man walks up to the door, looks at him, and says, "You know, that's going to kill you." The man smoking a cigarette takes a drag, inhales deeply, then says, "I'll have you know that my grandpa lived to be 103." "And he was a smoker?" the other man asks. "No." The smoker replied. "He minded his own fucking business."
Guest Dids Report post Posted April 9, 2004 My smoking career amounts to a quarter of a cigar (and that was in Tijuana after a SHITLOAD of Tequlia, so it doesn't count). I enjoyed it- but I've seen what smoking did to my grandparents, so I don't fuck with it. That said- I could give two shits if people smoke. At parties I always find myself outside kicking it with the smokers. I'm not sure what my point was other than that IDRM sure doesn't seem like a fuckwad- but I know somebody in this thread who does...
