"The Apprentice" Finale Thread

Recommended Posts

Last week's episode was really interesting- Omarosa basically scewed Kwame over for no reason, while Bill's group seemed to be running fairly smoothly.

However, a theory I've been hearing a lot is that Omarosa always worked for Donald Trump, and that she's a "mole" of some kind. So if Kwame manages to pull this concert off, I think he's a lock to win.

Thoughts/Predictions?

I've thought since about Week 2 that Bill would win, but now I'm not so sure. He is being very condescending towards his employees right now, while Kwame is doing a good job himself. Everything that has gone wrong for him right now has been Omarosa's fault and Kwame has done as well has he could given the circumstances. Amy & Nick were clearly weaker than Kwame & Bill and fully deserved to be fired.

I don't buy into the Omarosa is a mole theory at all. She's just an incompetent bitch.

I don't think Omarosa is a "mole", per se, but I think it's obvious she's trying to tank it for them. I mean, if you fucking lose your singer, even if it's Jessica Simpson, who probably gets lost walking to her car in the morning, you've got a problem.

I think Kwame's going to win, though, because he's gonna end up doing fine even with Omarosa's fuck-ups. Bill will probably do well, too, but Trump will hire Kwame because he succeeded even with Omarosa.

The commercial for the finale mentions that Bill gets paniced and frenzied to the annoyance of his team. Kwame, being Kwame, won't do that. I have feeling that he's going to stun the fuck out of EVERYONE who has watched the show from the beginning and pull off the win when a lot of people have been predicting him to be booted for weeks now. Funny, that.

Omarosa as a mole would make sense BUT given that it's Omarosa, it wouldn't be beyond belief that Omarosa is actually trying to screw Kwame over out of spite for being eliminated....

As for who wins it, I say Bill will win it because it would seem as if Omarosa's antics will cost Kwame the win do to him not taking appropriate measures towards her for her antics, IE firing her especially since he let Omarosa have free reign to fuck up...

Speaking of this show, wasn't there this recent episode where the chicks got offended when a guy on a team told them to sell this product with their good looks, but at the start of the series they were using their looks to beat the guys in early-round competitions? In addition a lot of the chicks are now going to pose in skimpy outfits for some magazine...

This might make sense if the finale wasn't live.

Blah, you know what I mean. It's like two fuckin' hours and the first is the task, isn't it? I'm lumping all that shit in as the finale.

Have you never watched Survivor? It's a trademark for all Mark Burnett shows to have a two hour finale and for the first 30 minutes of the two-hour finale being a recap show while the last thirty minutes being a "town hall" type gathering of all of the contestants (though with the Apprentice, I wouldn't put it past them to only invite the cast members who were around at the point in which they re-organized the teams into mix-gender teams, as that was the point in which people actually started watching the show) and have everyone gush in a live setting about how they feel about the entire experience....

Sort of. You're thinking of Katrina, who's main strategy for all of the challenges was to whore herself out to the people her team were interacting with. When she finally decided not act like a hooker and try and come up with an idea (which was a really, really bad idea BTW) and got laughed at by her male teammates, she started crying sexism and how the men were treating her like a whore instead of as a vital part of the team. Her bitching got so bad that even Amy started to complain about Katrina and her double-standard view of using her sexuality blatantly and then crying sexism when she didn't get her way....

Of the two I WANT Bill to win (still think Troy was the best candidate), but Kwame's a corporate guy through and through, so I'd say he's got a good chance to win.

Funny note about Omarosa - I've heard that while she DID work in the White House (during the Clinton Administration), she was also FIRED from four different positions while there.

Yup. Understandingly, all testimonials given said that nobody could stand her at all.

Man, Kwame really got hurt by Omarosa though. I mean, it's one thing to have some fun and mingle with the talent, but for Chrissakes, at least answer the fucking walkie-talkie.

That was damning when they couldn't find Jessica Simpson (again!) when Trump wanted to meet with her. I don't know if Kwame wins this, even if I was sure of it before.

I said that before that. Obviously, if Kwame doesn't get the job, it is because of Omarosa.

Yeah, but I knew from the second they said "Chicago" that he was gonna take the tower job. Can't blame him, either.

Yeah - home is where the heart is.

Kwame was really screwed over by Omarosa. It's pretty obvious that Omarosa wasn't out to make Kwame shine, and I think that he did a pretty good job in spite of her.

Still, Bill's intensity showed that he wanted it more, and in the end I think that's what won it for him.

Trump should really just fire George. At every board room, its seems like Donald's been telling him to stop talking.

I am happy that Bill got the job though. I am glad Katrina's "spoiler" saying Kwame was going to win was false.

What the hell was Sam's proposition anyways? I heard him saying to Trump "I'll pay you $250 000 to work for you!". Was that what he said?

Yeah, good idea. Fire someone who has been working with him for 30 years because he talks a bit too much in a scripted TV show that's not even really part of his job.
