Only PPV I've ever been too, and still best wrestling show I've ever gone too. I have no words to describe the pop for Austin that night, "Deafening" would not do it justice. Every time they even showed him in a videa package, the place would erupt into loudness, and when the glass broke in the main event, oh my...I don't think I've ever heard a reaction so loud...

I don't know why, but I'm guessing the upload got cut off or something near the end, it was supposed to the full match all the way to the show ending with Austin / Rock beer toasting. I'm trying to get it fixed as we speak plus my webservers all fucked up since it won't let me delete a match because it says its not there even though you can still download it and I can't contact the site providers because its late. Its so frustrating for me right now.

It was a true foreshadowing of Hogan's reception when he returned in 2 years. When everyone heard "I Am A Real American..." the whole place was freaking out because we didn't know what was going on, and when Show first walked out, from a distance many thought it WAS Hogan. Of course we quickly realized it was Show and the whole place still chanted "Hogan, Hogan" the whole match. Great time, god I loved Backlash...
Jobber of the Week Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Okay, Deon, this is great. The neat thing is I can stick all three movies on a CD-R and play them on a DVD player in VCD mode. But man, the size of that match file is going to explode the size of your hosting bill. I miss the 2000 main events, even if they were a little stupid (HHH/Vince vs Rock, anyone?)
