Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted April 15, 2004 Still looks very bush-league, but its leaps and bounds better than the Mets & Pirates ones...and whatever the hell team Anglesault just posted. I'd guess diamondbacks.
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 I don't care what anyone says-that kicks ass! I might be an ugly uniform, but if you can't love the idea of a keg man, you have no soul.

Styles 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Was the world really waiting for CAMOUFLAGE jerseys!?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 16, 2004 They debut them a while ago, I think. I first saw them a couple years ago. I think they are one time militart tribute things. Still bad, and I'm not really sure where they plan on hiding.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted April 16, 2004 God, damn me for starting up the future jerseys that all bombed in like a week.
JJMc 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Those hats are just uncalled for. Hey man, that comment just made me laugh out loud, and I am having a pretty shitty day thus far. Thanks! -Jim
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 It sucks to say it now that 'retro' is so cool, but I actually really like the flying V/Cooperall era for the 'Nucks. As I said in an earlier post, that color scheme was pretty common and popular in the day, especially compared to now. I'd love to have a Tiger Williams sweater from back in the day. King Kamala 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 I thought the mid 90's trend of the NBA of putting whatever your team animal is on your jersey is much like those TATC jerseys. In particular the Vancouver Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors first jerseys are so awesomely cheesy. However the mid 90's Milwaukee Bucks jersey with a giant buck on it looks like something a complete scrub who couldn't afford any other jerseys would wear. The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 Thoughts: Seeing as the Brewers get an image overhaul every three years or so, Keg Man is not far off. Maybe not the TATC uniforms exactly, but integrate a stylized M with the Keg Man and you have a decent cap. Heh. Keg Man. KEG MAN! He comes from the Midwest, to do battle with THE AMAZING RANDO! I have an idea for what the Yankees TATC would've looked like, Anglesault. It would've been red and blue pinstripes, with the NY logo plastered on a baseball that gets hit across the jersey by some weird Pat Patriot-lookin' guy wearing sunglasses. Yeah. I'm lovin' it. The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 If anything, it might've looked like the Cards' uniforms. Same basic design. Perhaps, but I'd rather see them destroy history with my "Hank Yankee" idea. Oh yeah, and the pants would be silver.

(let's also piss off IDRM with successive quote insets) The caps would have those little propellers on top. When you hit a home run, they spin.

The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 Is there a Kiss-Cam at Yankee Stadium? If not, there should be one to go with my Hank Yankee cartoon uniforms, FieldTurf, and propellers on the caps.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 And to further ruin the baseball experience, they can play Day-O, about every eight minutes, throughout the entire game! You mean, they what?

Hey, the Chicago Cubs have history... ...not GOOD history... ...um, well at least you're not getting mocked by a Colorado Rockies fan!
Styles 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 I've noticed that alot of fans of teams that have no particularly good history like to mock Yankees' history. The O's have a proud and storied history. Since inception in 1954 they have won 3 world series, 6 American league titles and 8 division titles. They have 5 AL MVPs, 6 Cy Youngs, 7 Rookie of the Years, and 5 Hall of Famers (Earl Weaver, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Jim Palmer and Eddie Murray-soon Cal Ripken will make 6). Anyway, I'd say Baltimore has a pretty proud tradition. Fun Fact: The original AL Baltimore Orioles, formed in 1901 became...the New York Yankees! So, if we're mocking Yankee history, can I mock that all of this wouldn't have been possible without your franchise's rootes in Baltimore? Oh, Fun Fact 2: Babe Ruth is from Baltimore and we have a giant statue of him outside our stadium and the OFFICIAL Babe Ruth museum across the street. This is fun! I wasn't talking about the Orioles. They've had a decent 50 years. Fun Fact: The original AL Baltimore Orioles, formed in 1901 became...the New York Yankees! I'm not exactly sure whose eyes you think you are opening with those facts. But if you want to bring up the original Baltimore Orioles, you might as well mention that John McGraw more or less ravaged the team and for all intents and purposes sent it under. That's a part of Oriole's history to.
