Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted April 17, 2004 How in the fucking HELL did No Way Out 2003 get ****?! Are you high?! No Match reached ABOVE ***, which is an atuomatic *** or less rating. The Three "Main Events" were a grand total of maybe 1/2* combined, which knocks it down to about *1/2. NWO 03 = Complete Crap...except for the 2-on-3 Tag and MAYBE Jericho/Hardy. Edit: To get my TECHNICAL - PPV star rating, I compile the total number of stars from each match, devide by total number of matches, and tada. Insto-rating. For a PPV to be *****, it has to have some fucking good matches, because even Wrestlemania X-7 as a whole might only be around ***+, which is practically awesome considering there are 7 or so matches in the ***-***** range. Of course, I doubt anyone thinks like that, because it would be hard to say whats a great PPV and whats a middle of the road one.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 18, 2004 Some shows had one great match, while others didn't, but had a strong match or three. I stand by my ratings. The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2004 Extremely harsh. You're telling me that the Triple-Threat Tag Team Elimination and Elimination Chamber matches were "just average"? Both were good. I haven't seen the pay-per-view since it aired, and I wasn't grading matches out of five stars at that point. I remember thinking that the two elimination matches were good, but all of the action I can recall is Benoit/Angle being eliminated (the triple threat tag lost my interest at that point), the finish to the elimination chamber and RVD landing on HHH's throat. The tables match was bad, the women's match was average, Brock/Big Show was nothing and Steiner debuting was fun. There may have been another match. I appreciate all the work that goes into a WWE PPV, but this PPV was nothing spectacular in my opinion. Still, I keep paying to see the shows (well, some of them), so they're obviously keeping the quality high enough for me.

I didn't fully appreciate the Tag Team Championship match when it aired, but when Choken mentioned it in a "Greatest Survivor Series matches" thread, I gave it another look and is the type that I would show to a non-fan. Hardy/Bubba/Spike VS Rico/Rosey/Jamal - Nothing too important, just a great choice for an opener and a fun outing. Brock/Show - A nice, short David/Goliath mentality match, which was fun for Brock's only decent PPV F-5 on Show, as well as kicking off the hype for 'Mania XIX. I'm no Steiner mark, but I'll admit that they debuted him well. If you can, I recommend you to watch at least the Tag Team Championship and the Elimination Chamber again. At least. bob_barron 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2004 Why would you show a non-fan a match featuring a dead crowd, flat action and a minute facelock on Rey Mysterio? Of all the matches featuring the SD! 6- why show the worst one? Even Eddy and Chavo were dissapointed with the match. It's funny seeing you argue over SS02- when you still haven't justified your whacked our ratings
