What is Nova's OVW "Finisher & moves" ???

Recommended Posts

Guest glennsoe

I seem to remember that he had a mighty cool moveset in Ecw and on the indy scene.....And i remember he had a great move called "Kryptonite Krunch", but i can't imagine that wwe would allow him to use it under wwe contract..

So if someone could please tell me which finisher he currently uses in OVW and which finisher and other "Nova moves" he will be doing when he gets called up to Smackdown soon ??

These are some of the moves I have seen him finish people off with in OVW and remember OVW is not WWE until one of the boys get sent to SD or RAW.

Spin Doctor - spinning ace crusher

Kryptonite Krunch - air raid crash

Novacaine - reverse legsweep

Scream Machine - running electric chair drop

Has Nova developed a character for when he does show up on one of the WWE shows? Superhero or Backstreet Boy or something else and rather boring like using his real name?

It's not the Kryptonic Krunch, it's the Kryptonite* Krunch as mentioned before.

isn't Kryptonnyte crunch the same style move as the Vertebreaker! Or is that a different type of move.. I heard tell one of the two is a Emerald Fusion version

It's got nothing to do with a Vertebreaker.

Some people have said the KK/ARC is an Inverted Backdrop Version of the EF (eg the opp is facing the same way as the attacker and hanging down their back).

It's one of the harder to call moves.

The Nova Inventing jokes haven't been funny in 4 years.

As for the Spin Doctor being an Inverted Swinging Neckbreaker going the short way.

A Swinging Neckbreaker goes the short way. The Last Rites/Roll The Dice/Test Drive/ etc are Reverse Inverted Swinging Neckbreakers as they go the other way.

I'm suprised Nova hasn't stolen anything else lately. Or maybe no one wants to team with him anymore.

Yeah. The Vertebreaker isn't related to the Kryptonite Krunch at all. About the only thing they have in common is that you're holding them to the back of your body as the move is performed.

The Vertebreaker is a Gori Special variant. Stand with your back to the recipient, with him bent over and facing toward you. Hook his arms, twist, pick him up and drop him on his upper back, facing away as he lands.

The Kryptonite Krunch is the closest to an EF, except it's inverted, as Dace said. Lift the opponent up as if for Bob Holly's Alabama Slam, keep hold of the inside leg, cradle the head so that he's facing up and drop him.
