"Comb the area. Find him. Kill him."

"Donald's only use for the word 'comb', just heard it."

Re: Puma Man, to quote myself from some earlier point

Between his roles in Puma Man and Warrior of the Lost World, Donald Pleasance may be the greatest actor ever to appear on MST

And that includes Jack Palance in Outlaw

I love how the Aztec guy just takes over the hero role at the end.

"The hero of the movie is this guy, I think it's time we faced that fact."

I can't believe some of the titles to the movies they watch. "The Incredibly Strange Creatures That Stopped Living and Became Mixed Up Zombies"?

my mom and i always just refer to it as " Schick Out of Shape".

i dunno...Gene Hackman was in Marooned, y'know. and Clint Eastwood's cameo in I Was a Teenage Werewolf.

Only 10 minutes in and I'm really liking Pumaman.

I love how he can sense danger, but can't sense the bulky Aztec guy sprinting up behind him.

*Aztec busts in* "I'm still not sensing danger."

This is why 7-11's allow no more than three Aztecs at one time.

I think what I meant is that Donald Pleasance gave the best notable actor performance(s) in any MST films

Gene Hackman was just kind of there in Marooned

My nuts!

Oh and back on Pumaman topic

"It's an Aztec family Christmas!"

I agree with the author of this Pumaman recap: there's no way they intended for that movie to be a "serious" superhero movie. The "flying" scenes alone should tell you that. Either that, or everyone on the set was under some massive amounts of hallucinogens.

BTW, I highly reccommend reading the other recaps on that site. Especially the ones for Gigli and Armageddon. He's also done a lot of the more well-known movies done on MST3K (Manos, Overdrawn, Red Zone Cuba, etc.)

Just saw this on Sattelite News:

LEGEND FILMS DEBUTS "MIKE NELSON'S RIFFTRAX"

Now we know what Legend Films meant in their press release last week (see below) when they said that Mike Nelson "will be responsible for building and leading the company's creative content, providing on-going commentaries and developing other premium web-based programming."

Legend Films has announced a new web site called Mike Nelson’s RiffTrax. A lot of people have talked about something like this. Mike and Legend are actually doing it. At the site, you can download full-length commentaries for a growing list of movies. When it's working right, you pay, download the commentary (it's an unrestricted 128 bit MP3 file), pop the movie in your DVD player, load the commentary into the mp3 player of your choice, and off you go!

The first file on the site is for Mike's favorite movie: Road House. It's priced at $1.99, which you pay through PayPal. For more info, see the FAQ on the site.

One other note, direct from Legend:

RiffTrax is a Beta site. We need your help to work out the kinks. So please send us your comments on anything that you like or dislike. Tell us how to make it better. If all goes well, we will be adding more RiffTrax in the coming weeks featuring not only Mike riffing by himself, but also with partners. We encourage you to send us your feedback!

PLEASE NOTE: If you repost this item, please credit Satellite News. Thanks.

That is a GREAT idea. If we were ever to see a reunion of Mike/Kevin/Trace or Bill, this is definitely a good way to do it. After watching Armageddon lately, that is a perfect movie for them to do something like this.

I haven't seen City Limits since I was like 12 years old. All I really remember is Joel covering up nudity with an umbrella, and PING PONG BALLS!
