Angle-plex Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 "Maybe he's going into the house to meet the real hero of the film. Next we're going to meet the real hero of the film."
Guest Smues Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 "Is this that subliminal advertising I've heard about?" "I'm suddenly hungry for a guy with glasses."
devo Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 "Are you making dinner?" "Are you offering?" "No, I'm saying make me dinner."
Conspiracy_Victim Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 "He died as he lived, mud-splattered and splaying." "Hi! I'm Bob Evil!"
Guest netslob Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 "John Oats, NO!!" or "Michael Med-DEAD!"
muzz Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "I'm gonna squint the hell out of them!" "Ah, remember when everybody got the Nick Miller haircut and went around wearing Castleton t-shirts."
ChrisMWaters Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Seeing it in the episode list, and having heard of the movie outside MST but never seeing the MST ep... How was the MST-ep of Village of the Giants? Just wondering.
KingPK Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "No monologues with poopy pants, please!" (After Nick and the Evil CEO are killed) "Oh....well...thank you, movie." "Yeah, appreciate it."
Conspiracy_Victim Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "57 Keebler elves were killed today when an airplane crashed into their tree." "EL Fudge remains in critcal condition."
Ted the Poster Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "Thank you, Chuckle Hut middle act who thought this was his big break!" Seeing it in the episode list, and having heard of the movie outside MST but never seeing the MST ep... How was the MST-ep of Village of the Giants? Just wondering. It has Beau Bridges, and a loving tribute to Frank Zappa. That's all I remember.
Guest Smues Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "Thanks director's college buds who brought their own suits to the shoot."
Guest netslob Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "He's trying to get honey like Pooh." "Oh, he's like pooh alright." "But what about my hockey hair?!" "I'm Batman" (i always crack up at that one)
Slayer Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "Ah, remember when everybody got the Nick Miller haircut and went around wearing Castleton t-shirts." "You Castleton snob!"
Guest Smues Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 HAHA unlucky for your I secrete pinetar from my hands!
Slayer Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "You're out of paper *punch* towels in the bathroom."
devo Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 "I leave for five minutes and EvilCo is in shambles!" ------------------------------------- "They're running out of ALT!" "And their MPH knots are going down!" ------------------------------------- *guy comes out of nowhere and wallops Nick* "You didn't count on the assisstant janitor!" Regarding Village of the Giants, yeah, it's a pretty forgettable episode. Ron Howard's in it and there's way too many jokes (most of 'em pretty unfunny) made at his expense.
Slayer Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Yes, there's several incidences of Tom and Mike making fun of Willow, while Crow emphasizes that he liked the movie. The one line that ended the bit (I think) was pretty funny though Crow: "I liked Willow!" Mike: "Really.. Kevin Pollack? You liked that?" Crow: "Point taken."
ChrisMWaters Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Eh, sometimes forgetable episodes are fun to. Like Season 7's "The Incredible Melting Man"...with host segments parodying the Hollywood scene as trauma treatment for doing the MST movie.
Slayer Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 None of the Season 7 eps are forgettable. Those six eps are some of their best work, period.
Art Sandusky Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Just ask me how good any episode is. I'll let you know. Be warned, the second and third seasons are my favorite.
ChrisMWaters Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 None of the Season 7 eps are forgettable. Those six eps are some of their best work, period. Six and a half. Remember, there were two versions of "Night of the Blood Beast"
Slayer Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 I don't really count the one-off Thanksgiving episode
ChrisMWaters Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 I don't really count the one-off Thanksgiving episode Ah, OK. Though, not to be TOO nitpicky...it was shown twice.
KingPK Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Anyone ever check out the Ward E section of Satellite News? Well, here is indisputable proof that, yes, I am indeed a complete dork. That's right, I actually took the time to transcribe an entire host segment from the Agent for H.A.R.M. episode a couple years ago and sent it in. You may commence the mocking............now.
AndrewTS Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Roadhouse Deluxe Edition http://dvd.ign.com/articles/719/719653p1.html ...
muzz Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Open up your heart and let the Patrick Swayze Christmas in. We'll gather at the Roadhouse with our next of kin. And Santa can be our regular Saturday night thing. We'll decorate our barstools and gather round and sing. Oh, let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas this year! Or we'll tear your throat out and kick you in the ear! It's my way or the highway, this Christmas at my ba-ha-haar. I'll have to smash your kneecaps if you bastards touch my car! I got the word that Santa has been stealing from the till. I think that that right jolly old elf better make out his will, ohh, Oh, let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas, one and all. And this can be the haziest... This can be the laziest... This can be the Swayziest Christmas of them aaallllllllll!
River City Rocker Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 So how long until it becomes a standard?
