The convention Center is supposed to hold 10,000 for WWE as I read on the website and I guess there was about 6,500 - 7,000 people. Triple Threat WWE Tag Team Championship: Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Charlie Haas & Rico w/ Miss Jackie vs. Basham Brothers A decent match, but very entertaining as Rico does his thing on Haas and everyone else. Every does their spots and Rico then kisses one of the Bashams and Haas rolls him up for the win. Post match, the Dudleys come out and takes out Rico and Haas. - Kurt Angle comes in a wheelchair & crutches to very loud "You Suck" chants... The sound at the Tulsa Convention Center is terrible! From what I picked out Kurt talks about how the Big Show destroyed him, then he calls out Paul London and tells London that he reminds him of himself (Angle) and says that he's gonna gives him a chance (Insert sarcastic comment here). If London beats the next opponent he'd face the winner of the WWE Championship match after Backlash. He is going to face Smackdown's newest member... Mordecai (white hair, mustache and goatee and does a Christopher Daniels type gimmick)... Paul London vs. Mordecai Squash Match, Mordecai wins with a Razor's Edge. Lasted about 3 minutes. Next... Fatal Four Way Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guerrero w/ Chavo Sr. vs. Spike Dudley vs. Jamie Noble vs. Billy Kidman Best match of the night... Double pin as Chavo pins Noble and Spike pins Kidman... Then Spike and Chavo battle it out until Chavo Sr. interferes... Chavo Jr. Rolls Spike Up... Chavo Jr. Puts his feet on the ropes 1-2-3 win... Post Match: Spike gets his revenge and does the Dudley dog on Chavo and Chavo Sr. Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer vs. Booker T Booker T comes out talks trash about Smackdown and the Undertaker... (Bells Toll, Lights go out! Prepare to meet your maker!) Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer comes out to very loud cheers and I was disappointed the Paul Bearer didn't talk though. oh well... Major squash, with Undertaker winning in about a minutes in a half with the tombstone piledriver. Bathroom Match: Matt Cappotelli vs. Hardcore Holly Another squash with Cappotelli getting a little offense... No one I mean, no one knew who Matt was in my section. Holly wins with the Alabama Slam Intermission Billy Gunn vs. Mark Jindrak w/ Theodore R. Long Can ya feel me playa?!?! T. Long comes out to a chorus of boos then calls us crackas! Brag about Jindrak, tells us to stand and adore him... We didn't and then they just bored us... Billy wins with the fame-asser Post Match: Billy moons the crowd... Tiny Teddy Contest: Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie Two of the Tulsa DJ's (one named Lunchbox???) and are doing the Ring Announcing... (This Lunchbox guys legit is acting like he's never seen a woman before and Torrie looks a little freaked! lol) Rene Dupree interferes before the match even starts talks trash to Torrie and tells her that there is no woman finer than Dawn (maybe a sign of things to come???) then John Cena comes out to protect Torrie and does a short rap on Dupree all I remember was something about Dupree stuffing his shorts with French Bread?!?! (once again the sound system sucks) then Kurt Angle comes out again... Tells Cena he shouldn't interfere in other's affairs and make the following match... Mixed Tag Match: John Cena/Torrie vs. Rene Dupree/Dawn Marie Ok match, Cena hits the F.U. and Torrie rips off Dawn Marie’s robe to reveal her teddy... Niiice... Very Niiice... Then Torrie shows us her stuff to many many cheer (think pink!) WWE Championship: Eddie Guerrero vs. John Bradshaw Layfield JBL gets on the mic and puts us to sleeps, makes fun of the Sooners, talks about Texas (cheap heat) blah, blah, blah... Eddie comes out in a lowrider to the biggest cheers of the night... But the match was very boring with a lot of rest holds cause Bradshaw can't hang with Eddie's speed (treadmill Bradshaw! treadmill!) Bradshaw hits the clothesline from hell for a 2 count... powerbomb 2 count... Eddie does a frog splash... 2 count... they do a ref bump... JBL grabs the belt and tries to hit Eddie with it but put his boot to the belt to JBL's head. JBL is down... Eddie is holding the belt then see the ref getting up then drops the belt and falls down (great stuff, everyone is cheering like crazy) Ref looks and both of them lying down and turns around to clear his head... Eddie then scoots over like 10 feet and then the Ref turns back around and the Ref gave a classic "what the hell I thought he was over there look" then Eddie puts his arms over JBL for the win. This match was about 15-20 minutes and 2/3rd of it was very very boring, not Eddie's fault but JBL needs to step up if he's gonna be a main eventer cause I didn't see anything new or good out of him, I was praying for Ron Simmons or anyone to come in and interfere... It was THAT BAD... Like I said Eddie tried, but man JBL is alot to carry. Post Match: JBL leaves, then Eddie thanks us all and tells us that Tulsa has the hottest mamacitas in the U.S (whatever unless he's talking about the girls with 3 teeth that came to the show! cause I didn't see anyone that was hot here...) and drives off into the sunset... Silence 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Even with JBL's shitty performance, WWE will still probably blame Eddie for Judgment Day's possible low buyrate and have him lose the title at the next Smackdown PPV and keep JBL at main-event status just because he's a hoss. BTW, quit starting so many threads. London getting squashed at a house show along with being so underused (including jobbing in a dark match to an unknown) since arriving makes me wish he would pull a Spanky and go back to ROH considering the promotion no longer has Styles or Daniels and add some star power back to it (in terms of ROH popularity, anyway). Does going to the Tuesday Smackdown tapings count for that as well? Rico actually got a "Rico" chant on the last SD. Anyways, the card sounds a lot like the one for my house show in El Paso next week except Chavo and Chavo Sr. taking the Bashams place and the CW Fourway being a Triple Threat instead. Everybody is hoping for a Taker/Moredeaci showdown, but the only way for it to work is if TAKER ACTUALLY LOSES A MATCH! Otherwise, Moredeaci's just another heavyweight jobber.
