EdwardKnoxII Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Update On Future Of Steve Austin And GOLDBERG... Most in WWE are now also saying that Steve Austin will not be returning to the company soon. Many thought after Austin left that he would return soon. The general feeling now is that he could return for WrestleMania next year. Meanwhile, Austin and Goldberg appear to be in talks with Dream Stage Entertainment in Japan about working a match. Steviekick Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I bet Vince is mad he couldn't pull off Gberg/Austin.
Guest JMA Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Vince will literally explode if Austin/Goldberg happens somewhere besides WWE.
AndrewTS Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 No news is good news. Austin/Goldberg would lick balls once the match actually would get started.
Dangerous A Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 No news is good news. Austin/Goldberg would lick balls once the match actually would get started. Agreed. Austin is a cripple and can't carry guys anymore and Goldberg really only knows how to work squash matches well.
jester Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I hope that Austin comes back for WM...and gets squashed mercilessly by Randy Orton. And I don't like Randy Orton.
thuganomics Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Unless we can travel back in time and pluck the 1998 Stone Cold and bring him to the present, I really don't want to see Austin return to WWE. He was once a true great, and I'd rather remember him as a great talent than a boring, annoying cripple who stuns people way too much.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 they fucked themselves with the timing..... the same day.....rather the same Night on TV that Austin was put out of Wrestling action ..... Goldberg officially arrives......like two ships passing in the night. Now its Goldberg vs Austin the ONLY Money match they could get out of Goldberg and it won't be in the WWE... Maybe goldberg was right about one thing, maybe they did misuse him... they should have Jobbed Fuck goldberg to Austin at Wrestlemania and then Fire his Ass...
AndrewTS Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Maybe Goldberg and Austin were right about one thing, maybe they were misused.. they should have Jobbed Fuck goldberg to Austin at Wrestlemania and then Fired both their Asses... *Edited to reflect my feelings*
Guest Choken One Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 In hindsight, it would have been the way to go. Austin to beat the Mighty Goldberg at WMXX...goldberg runs like a bitch...Austin retires. Not sure what Brock would have been left to do but oh well. He left regardless of if it was Goldberg or perhaps if it was fucking Rikishi...didn't seem like it was gonna make it any different.
Guest wrestlingbs Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 A match, even if it lasted only 10 minutes and was full of fluff like Hogan/Rock, between Goldberg and Austin would have been a major draw for a WWE PPV. I'm surprised they didn't pull the trigger at last year's S. Series when both guys were hot.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I just hate the idea of Goldberg working in Japan. If Vince had kept Austin and Goldberg around for a bit longer, he could've made the match happen.
