Big Name Rappers To Appear At WWE Pay-Per View?

Recommended Posts

Ah, cheers Choken.

Now, if only someone could translate my reply back to him...

"I - like all other mature, adult individuals - don't care about rap music.  I've never heard of any of these "artists" and nor do I have any desire to.  Now, go away and grow up."

Yes, because if you listen to rap you can't possibly be a mature adult. Fucking idiot

And your post proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Yes, because listening to death metal and the like makes you so mature

Aaand, you're talking to whom? I don't listen to death metal.

However, you don't get that lashing out and swearing makes you anything but mature.

I was able to clearly understand Duck420...Here it is

Here it is in "WHITE-SPEAK" or AngleSaultism

Cena is really good on the mic. I have put out two albums(and sold them to both my mommies). I really Enjoyed Cena's Theme Song. I believe they should bring in a Underground unknown Rap group by the name of Def Jux Crew, because they already have a relationship with Estoeric, whom collaborated on Cena's Album.

I hate the mainstream artists like Cube and Snoop whom only want money and ad time and WWE would be better served to bring in Aseop Rock and El-P would work cheap and would be better.

Perhaps they can hire me to their Record label that doesn't exist anymore.

exactamundo tho my momma didnt buy my cd.

I really didnt want to get into an argument, I just get annoyed by the folks who put down rap all the time.

I agree. Why is it the people who hate rap can never just...you know... NOT LISTEN TO IT, and stop constantly throwing in their 2 cents as if anyone asked for it?

I think a lot of the music some people here like (emo rock, death metal, Euro dance pop, etc) is absolute GARBAGE, but you don't see me going into those threads and talking shit do you?

Everybody knows that Cena's no Dre

Dr. Dre is pretty much an average rapper and he even basically admits

that in interviews. Producing is his thing. Most of his rhymes are written by

other people.

I was merely pointing out that the majority of people who listen to rap are about 13-14 year olds who are in the "the real world sucks i hate my life and parents" stage. It is one beyond the kids who listen to pop music and are in the "wow i like dancing to this tune" stage, but before the 15-17 year olds who listen to punk-pop (green day, busted) and are in the slightly more mature "my girlfriend dumped me because i fell off my skateboard" stage. By the time you get to 18+ (ie adult) you should - especially if your a student - have discovered The Smiths. When this discovery happens, well then your a fully mature music fan.

You are a complete fucking moron. No other word fits you but moron.

The music you listen to doesn't make you mature or not mature, the actions you do. Right now, you are an imature person. If someone listens to say LL who is rapping about love that means he thinks the word sucks and the parents hate them? Most rap fans are 13- 14 year olds? That makes no fucking sense. 18-30 year olds sounds closer to correct because these people can go to the clubs to hear their favorite acts and the content of some groups/ artist isn't even for kids that young. Do you even listen to rap? If you don't how can you make comments like this when you know nothing of it? I bet the most rap you have seen was at the Superbowl this year.

What is wrong with Dance music? Pop music is liked by alot. You heard of this thing called Motown? You know the music adults LOVE and a lot will be watching Next Monday to dance and sing to the music they listen to growing up(60s through 80s).

Pop-Punk does have alot of young fans, I will give you that. But who ever the hell the Smiths are does not make a person a mature music fan. I am over 18 and I call myself a mature music fan. To be a mature music fan, you listen to other types of music or atleast accept that others will like other types of music.

Back on topic: Cena doesn't need these acts to come down for a midcard match at a B-rate PPV against Dupree. Why not save something this big for when he has a world title shot at a main PPV like a WM, Summerslam, or Survivor Series?

the only rap i listen to is basically poetry spoken over a beat. im not into that fake thug bullshit pimpin hoes and selling crack. it aint real. i listen to music about REAL LIFE. how is that immature. maybe you are just a stupid piece of shit who hates whatever black people listen to? ive found most people who HATE rap are just racists who try to make an excuse to be racist against something black people like. there is a bad to everything. some things have positive aspects and maybe before you condemn them you should find out but no you just want to open your mouth and say what you like is better than mine. i can go on and on about this subject with detail and actual factual evidence.

No he didn't, he called me a racist.

If I wasn't so tired, i'd probably take issue with that.

Or at least I think he called me a racist.

I didn't put down rap. I don't like it, but you sure as hell didn't change my mind about it the way you worded that reply, but rather you were essentially proving the irrational conclusion of the other poster.

Yes because my actions on an internet message board determine how mature I am.

Whenever you're trying to get across a viewpoint of yours, ranting and swearing like an irrational 12-year-old comes across as extremely immature and undermines whatever you were trying to say.

If you want people to believe you're mature, act like it, where ever or however you may be expressing your opinions.

the only rap i listen to is basically poetry spoken over a beat. im not into that fake thug bullshit pimpin hoes and selling crack. it aint real. i listen to music about REAL LIFE. how is that immature. maybe you are just a stupid piece of shit who hates whatever black people listen to?

^ While I'm not the person this was directed at, this is precisely what I'm talking about.

The "fake thug" stuff is what most of the mainstream rap that those not familiar with it hear. Naturally, hasty conclusions are drawn. That part I understand, because my favorite genre of music, heavy metal/hard rock, has had quite a lot of untalented posers giving a bad name to the talented groups.

However, the poor grammar, punctuation, and capitalization combined with the rush to sling the racist label onto some one, AND using profanity-laden insults really hurts your argument.

Maybe the people who dislike rap may know of the sorts aside from the "fake thug" stuff and simply have a personal preference that the music itself, more so than the lyrics, is even more important. That really knocks the appeal of rap down several pegs because many of the "beats" are just background music or a skeleton of the rap's structure.

Furthermore, plenty of white people listen to it to--probably as much or more than the number of black people listen to rap. If some one hates blues music, do they hate black people, even though there are many blues artists and listeners who are white? Plenty of hard rock musicians/bands are outgrowths of blues music, but I know there are plenty of them that dislike rap. Are they racist because they don't like that music or they only like the blues music that's been "whitey-fied?"

What about people who like hip-hop and don't like rap?

Off-topic I know, but there's plenty of ignorance on all sides here.

It ain't real? Where are you from, Rhode Island? I'm sorry, but I live in Cleveland, and the 'fake thug bullshit pimpin hoes sellin crack' IS real. Most of the rappers that blow up around here (Bone, DSU, Etc) DID live that lifestyle. You're little Def Jam poetry stuff is usually just some crybaby bitch talking about shit no one gives a fuck about over a beat to impress Russell.

i listen to music about REAL LIFE.

Sure thing hot shot. Like I said though, you must be from white boy, America.

how is that immature. maybe you are just a stupid piece of shit who hates whatever black people listen to? ive found most people who HATE rap are just racists who try to make an excuse to be racist against something black people like.

Holy fucking shit kid, you dun did it. That is the most ignorant thing I have seen in a long time. So first of, you are telling me that only black people listen to rap music...and secondly you are saying that white people hate it more then an old school version of 'Swing low (sweet chariot)'. Kid, seriously, shut the fuck up. I listen to rap music, lightweight. I have more black people as friends, then you've probably ever seen in your life (which even 2 would probably be more). ALL I do is make fun of the music they listen to, but I'm not racist kiddo. Oh yeah, and I'm sure you came to this conclusion all by yourself and thought it was a good one. Nope, fucko, you just made my day though.

there is a bad to everything. some things have positive aspects and maybe before you condemn them you should find out but no you just want to open your mouth and say what you like is better than mine. i can go on and on about this subject with detail and actual factual evidence.

Oh PLEASE show me this 'detail and factual evidence'. I'd really like to see what else you've got in that little head of yours.

EDIT: I must have missed this, 'your factual evidence'.

i dont curse in my rap music. i dont use bad grammer. i have a college degree. most people who flat out hate rap are racist. i dont fucking care what you say. you dont like it because you dont like the image. the image is young black men. the reason i say this. i get so many people who hate rap then come and tell me they like eminem because they can relate to what he says. bullshit. hes white. thats the only relationship they have

GRAMMAR fuckwit. I still don't see how you can call a person who doesn't like the same music as you racist. I think all the bigotry is coming from your side, but hey, that's just me. Actually, after reading through all that mumble, I have come to the conclusion that you have no fucking clue what you are talking about, and you need to get ghost now before you make anymore stupid comments.

Does no one else find the irony here to be absolutely hilarious?

I mean I basically started this whole argument with a joking comment (which was admittedly probably wrong of me to do) that the only people who listen to rap music are immature 12-13 year olds. Then - as a reply to that - someone comes out and says "OMG!! YOUR A RACIST!! ALL RAP HATERS ARE RACIST!!" This person obviously listens to rap music AND is an immature 12-13 year old. I mean, I wasn't even serious but someone actually backed up my point.

I'd be upset too... if I knew what a "rascist" was. ;)

Back on topic... no one will purchase a wrestling PPV on the promise of a music act appearing. Either you're a fan of wrestling or you're not.

And for the record, I'm the most immature Smiths fan you will ever meet.

Stop being RACIST~!

That is obviously how black people talk and for you all to mock him for his vernacular is not only incongruous, but contumelious as well. You all should be ashamed.

If I can contain my laughter for a moment...

I'm not much of a fan of rap music really. I don't mind the mainstream artists such as Eminem and 50 Cent, once I've heard a song five or six times and it's got stuck in my head. But I don't go out of my way to listen to rap music. I wouldn't call myself a racist.

Most rap songs I prefer have a decent beat in the background, because to be honest I don't see the skill in speaking a bunch of words which generally don't mean anyhing really quickly. Eminem I can stand, because his songs generally have a decent beat and his stuff has some meaning. "My Band" is one of my favourite songs right now. But besides that, I'm totally indifferent to rap music. And again, I wouldn't call myself a racist.

Back on topic...I fail to see the general consensus of rap fans becoming wrestling fans just because a couple of guys appear on a PPV. So why they're targetting that spectrum of fans is beyond me.

I would...RACIST~!

You can not possible dislike rap and be indifferent to skin color. It is not possible.

I also would like to point out that I have reported this thread to a mod and I expect mass bannings. TSM would be a much better place without all of the RACIST~! trash polluting the threads.

And duck420, I understand your bling bling pizain...Dawg. I hope I help...hizzep..to get rid of some of these RACIST~! guys out of up in here. Fo Sure?
