Insane Bump Machine Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Source: Superherohype.com not much to see but it looks simpler, which is good. Discuss.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 boooo Can't see shit or even tell if it's a human.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 The picture is too dark. You can't make out any details of the costume.
eiker_ir Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 looks pretty good, i brightneted up a little and you can see a bit more, looks nice
dubq Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Increased the brightness and contrast so you can see a bit more detail. Looks.. interesting.
eiker_ir Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 i like that it looks more basic, and not so fancy like in the last two movies
HarleyQuinn Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I also like the basic look, simple and to the point
dubq Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I don't see a logo on the chest, though. Maybe it's on his belt buckle this time. ;p
eiker_ir Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 i think the logo is the same color as the suit just with an outline, so that makes it hard to see
Guest El Satanico Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It still looks like a rubber suit. I was hoping for material like the Spider-Man movie costume.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It might be leather. It reminds me of the material they used for Daredevil's costume.
NoCalMike Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I still want to see Bale's movie that is due out soon(or maybe it is already out in some art house theater) The Machinist.
dubq Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It still looks like a rubber suit. I was hoping for material like the Spider-Man movie costume. Can't tell, really, but hopefully they followed through and ditched the ultra-retarded "molded muscle" look of the suit like they said they were going to.
Youth N Asia Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It should be darker. After that cartoon shit with the last two Batmans they need to bring the badass back to the charcter.
Boner Kawanger Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I've tried to make a list of everything that's wrong with that costume. That's all I have so far. I can't decide if I love Bale or Nolan more.
Youth N Asia Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Bale...Nolan...I really don't see how they could screw this up that badly.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It could be leather I guess, but I don't know how that would look. The Spiderman costume material would've looked best, I think.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Does anyone fave a problem with how thin Bale is? Bruce Wayne dedicated his life to training up until he hit the streets as Batman... so why does Bale's Wayne look as gaunt as a heroin addict?
Youth N Asia Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Anyone know if he bulked up for the role?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 There was a thread with pics of him as Wayne floating around here. That's where I took my opinion from. Bale is pretty well jacked for a normal guy...there's just no beef to him.
Youth N Asia Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Trying to make this not sound gay. He's not a big guy, smaller frame, but he was well built in Equilibrium
Guest El Satanico Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I've heard that he got up to something like 230 for Batman. Bruce Wayne shouldn't be some huge bodybuilder looking guy, so Bale will be fine.
Guest Choken One Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 George Clooney wasn't built either was Keaton... The past Batman save for Kilmer weren't really atheltic muscle guys... So I guess Bale's "gauntness" shouldn't be a concern. I'd rather have Bale and his thin self then Arnold as Batman just because he looks "beefy". I dont remember any comics where Bruce was depicted as a "beefy" guy...only "in shape".
Guest wrestlingbs Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Simple = better. God I was tired of those ass shots from the last two films.
Guest Banders Kennany Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 Ass shots of *BATMAN* in the Schumacher films? I don't remember those..... Anyway these are not bad shots of Bale in costume at all, but something to me seems a bit off..hmmmm.... Does anyone fave a problem with how thin Bale is? Bruce Wayne dedicated his life to training up until he hit the streets as Batman... so why does Bale's Wayne look as gaunt as a heroin addict? Well I haven't seen any pix of Bale as Bruce, but for the Machinist, a movie mentioned in this thread by NoCalMike, Bale lose a lot of weight and I believe went down to only about 120! For this role I know he bulked up considerably to obviously get back to his natural mass, and I am sure a little more beyond that. I still want to see Bale's movie that is due out soon(or maybe it is already out in some art house theater) The Machinist. Yes he lost about 60 pounds for the role!
